I was introduced to this spot by a friend, and I’ll admit my expectations were low when I heard the cakes didn’t use eggs. But after one bite, I was completely won over. My absolute favorite is their butterscotch cake. It’s rich, flavorful, and perfectly moist. These cakes are so popular that slices often sell out quickly, so I highly recommend reserving ahead of time if you want to guarantee your pick.

“I had read great reviews about this bakery and ordered a birthday cake for a relative. All the reviews live up to the great things said and some. This was one of the best cakes I have had in years. So fresh, so well decorated and exactly as requested. I give my 100% plus recommendation to anyone looking for a bakery. It is worth traveling to. The donuts were awesome too just as advertised. Very large, expertly filled and tasted so fresh like they were baked about an hour before I picked them up.“

I also always love the Jumbo Twisted Donut. It’s kind of chewy inside, almost like it has a mochi-like texture, and it’s super satisfying.

Got a latte too and it actually tasted like coffee (in a good way lol). I didn’t add any sugar and it was still smooth and easy to drink. Definitely coming back again!“

“The cannolis here are INCREDIBLE... 10/10!!! The cookies are pretty good, too, as they are not overly sweet and go perfectly with coffee or tea. However, their mini cakes are not the best, which is why I'm docking a star. I ordered a mini tiramisu which was dry and seemed to have a frosting layer rather than a creamy mascarpone, which was disappointing. Overall, awesome bakery! I would just say to avoid the mini cakes.“

It’s hard to believe they don’t contain gluten because the texture and flavor are identical to traditional shortbread. Buttery, perfectly balanced, and rich without being too sweet. “I found out about this place from a coworker of mine who generously brought in a box of assorted buns to the office. I quickly became a fan and started going there regularly. They're sticky rice pork buns are great and the regular pork buns as well. I haven't tried everything there but so far Ive enjoyed what I have had. During the summertime they sell an iced tea with hibiscus and berries that's really good. They have bun options as well that you can take home and steam yourself. It's a very small place with some seating but I always take mine to-go. The employees are extremely friendly and the establishment is always clean and organized. I come here often and I know some of my co-workers do as well. Its very affordable. I've even seen this place featured from influencers on Instagram and it's well worth a visit.“

“I go to Diane’s all the time for coffee and baked goods, at least once a week. I invited new moms and dads from the Roslyn school today for a gathering at Diane’s this morning to support local business. We had about 12 people. Sat outside at the patio where the shaded area was. Everybody all bought coffee and pastries. We arranged the tables and chairs in a long row so we could see each other. Later we were told by Diane, the owner, that she wasn’t happy that we rearranged her tables and sat together in a row. Why? The place wasn’t crowded with other guests. We all bought and paid for goods. I couldn’t help but thinking that because we were all Asians?! She could ask us kindly to put the tables and chairs back once we finish, which we did without being asked at the end. But with the unwelcoming remarks I will never come to support this business again. I don’t say this lightly but I felt it was discrimination in every way. I’m truly disappointed. I love Diane’s and the yummy treats but the owner was truly unkind. I share this post here because I don’t think this business supports diversity, which is a shame because this community is becoming more and more diversified.“
