“We have been here multiple times and always enjoyed our visit. Most recently Claudia provided outstanding service for our tasting which led to us buying another case to enjoy at home. We visited during a heat wave and the tasting room was nice and cool. Can't wait to go back!“

“My husband and I had lunch at the Cafe in early November. We had a beautiful view of the lake from inside.
The cafe menu is extensive and prices are reasonable. My husband had a burger and I had a delicious salad. We shared a flight of wine. The portion of wine for the flight was at least double other wineries.
We will definitely return to Wagner.“

“We visited on Sunday 9/22 and hands down the group decided it was # 1 out of 4 wineries/vineyards we visited! Low key, delicious wine, friendly hosts and owner(s) and not overly commercialized with expensive trinkets. You can bring your own snacks too (if there isn’t a food truck there). Did I mention the beautiful view of Lake Seneca? Their vegetable garden is decorated for the spooky season and welcomes a few wanderers. It was the perfect end to the day! Put this stop on your list!“

“Wonderful winery! I wish I caught the gentleman’s name that only works weekdays but he was so personable and we had the best time. Wine was great but the experience was greater. Dog friendly as well.

“Shaw is a hidden gem of the Finger Lakes Region. The wines are absolutely exceptional and probably some of the biggest, full bodied, red wines in the state. The tasting is personalized with ample opportunity to ask questions about the grapes, the farming practices, and the wine making styles. What makes Shaw stand out from other wineries is that the wines you're given to taste are older, with a fair bit of bottle aging already done. This gives them a deepness and complexity not often found in this price point (FLX or elsewhere).

If you are looking for a stop on Seneca to drink wine quickly, with stunning aesthetics, and a place to party at, this is not the place for you. However if you want a taste of just how exceptional wines from this region can be, this has to be on your itinerary.“

“Made a tasting appointment for the early afternoon and Juan was an amazing server. He steered us on an amazing path and described the wines in great detail. On our last round of tastings we let him choose for us and he got it right. We also got the meat and cheese board for $16 which was a must. Clean and modern atmosphere with an amazing riesling selection. We were also able to purchase bottles of wine after our tasting was over. Would definitely return again especially if Juan is working!

“Did a tasting of cider and mead. It was a gorgeous location, and they had ape truly unique flavors. The ciders utilizing strong spices like cinnamon and ginger were surprisingly muted while still letting the flavors come through.

They are also gnome themed! This especially appealed to me.“

The local ingredients create a hearty meal that fueled me rather than weighed me down. Can't wait to try another burger or a grilled cheese and soup. “Rock Stream was our first stop for our 2024 wine tour weekend with a group of 30. They were amazing!!! They not only welcomed our group, but they provided excellent service and had a great organization. The wine, beer and spirits were loved by all. They were also very welcoming when our group wanted to hang out and have a drink or two. We enjoyed the fire rings on the patio, chatted with the owner and workers and had a great experience. “We stopped in yesterday and had a nice bottle of wine. Assistant Wine Maker Rhett Seeley stopped by to chat. Never met him before, but he was passing by and we asked him for some recommendations. He was extremely helpful and friendly. We ended up buying the wines he recommended as well as some beautiful garlic, a bag of coffee and some wine glasses! They are known for their dry reds and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend adding Hector Wine Company to your list of stops along the wine trail.“

“Great winery! Love stopping here when we’re on the west side of the lake. The sweet wines are fruity delights. They had a selection of 5 slushies, one nonalcoholic. The porch/patio seating area has a great view of the lake. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable.“
