“Reasonable prices, though the variety of goodies that we got left something to be desired (Boston cream, rugelach and a couple of others). I have previously had their babka and it was delicious. Unfortunately they were sold out of it this trip though. I will likely go again for that.“

They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. I've come to know the owner, Boris, and his staff, and they are always most helpful. Looking forward to my next trip to Merrick.“

I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.Sadly soon I’ll have to leave New York and won’t be able to eat here anytime soon, but I will remember this place.“

(There goes my diet) I ran across Layers from Uber Eats and googled the store to read the reviews which were great but I saw some bad reviews about the cakes being stale and not fresh. My cravings got the best of me and I ordered despite some bad reviews. Man oh man was I happy I did. The brownie was delicious and moist. I hate hard dry brownies this place did not disappoint. “Ive ordered from them several times for holidays and dinner parties. They're bakery items are ridiculously & consistently delicious. You can tell that they use quality ingredients. Worth every penny. And I never have to leave my house because they are delivery only. Tip: Plan ahead because they deliver on weekends only and they get pretty busy. But everything Ive received is made fresh the day of delivery. They are my go to bakery. I crave those Gemmies (ricotta cookies) so airy and light, not too sweet, and that chocolate cake omg, to die for. Their breads are so good too, sourdough is the best i have ever had!“
