“Went in for breakfast. Our server was decent. Walked away as I was finishing telling him my order, which came out ICE COLD & WRONG!!!! I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“

“My buddy and I went to dinner at the Grand Stage Diner on 4/10/24 prior to the Islanders game. The diner was clean, the hostess was very nice and friendly and the wait staff was excellent. We each ordered burgers w/ fries. I have to say it was one of the best cheeseburgers I ever had at a diner. Food was hot, perfectly cooked. Superb! I would definitely go back. Thank for for a great dining experience.“

“Ilona Lynch Stop 20 Diner is the absolute Best diner! They have the best, fattest anf tastiest burgers, which we had last night. I have been getting great meals from there for years, but last night was the first time I have ordered a burger from there, along with 2 good friends, and the burgers blew us away, along with the fries, being cooked to perfection. We have never had such thick burgers before at any diner ever, and they were so tasty and cooked to perfection. The onion rings were also excellent. A special thank you to the night manager, Manny for your service which went above and beyond! My 2 dear friends who were with me last night when you brought us our burgers also love the Food at Stop 20, and we send much appreciation and respect for your treatment of us, and the high quality of our meals! “Needs to be updated, need to use real cheese. Especially being the most expensive hole in the wall diner. I don't mind spending $25 for a breakfast plate. Just give me real cheese and thank you for still offering rye bread. Owner remembers everyone by face . Good people“

“was there this afternoon. Had a very enjoyable meal. wife had a brisket plate and me chopped steak. Have enough left over for another meal. Food was brought to our table hot , and with plenty of meat. Even the Greek salad was good and fresh. Waitress and other staff very attentive and place was clean. Will be back“

“A teen "jogger" waitress, gave me an attitude. I ordered some soup for take out. This waitress was angry and hostile. The soup was cold, and there were no crackers! The waitress needs some anger managment! Every time I go there, their service is dreadful. This will be the last time! Phooey!“

“I read all the reviews below and see value in most. Some, based on my experience, I take with a grain of salt. Mitchell’s has good food, ok prices and a mix when it comes to hospitality. Finding capable help these days isn’t easy. To complicate things, Mitchell’s is not that crowded usually zap waitstaff doesn’t do that well on tips so they don’t attract great help.“

“Food is delicious but over priced , spent $37.00 , just for a dinner of Spanish Rice , Short Ribs , Veggies and plantains, No drink it's not even weighed , I think the cashier makes the prices up , right in the spot . Good food but poor Prices.“
