“One of the best spots to check in LIC! They have a cute patio where you can sit outside. It’s the coziest thing ever especially in Fall season. The spicy chicken linguine is definitely worth to try. Have to mention that all the events going on here are 100% lovely 🥰 The time of getting my food is also acceptable! Staffs are nice.“

“This is a great spot for a quick French dessert or sandwich takeout! My only minor gripe is that they often sell out of their best sandwich options early, leaving the same limited selection available in the afternoons. I’m no expert, but wouldn’t it make sense to prepare more of their best sellers and fewer of the sandwiches that consistently go unsold?“

“I was waiting for my car to be serviced nearby and found this little cafe.Went in for coffee and I was pleasantly surprised to find how clean the place is. Never expected from small place like this.The guy was awesome and I received very warm welcome.I ordered a coffee which was served in no time. I also grabbed a banana and this guy just told me you can have it for free as you are here for the first time! How cool is that. I wish I lived nearby and this would have been my go to place every time.I wish them all the best for their business!“

“I was here a couple weeks ago. Very welcoming and friendly. I came here by myself sat at the bar. The attention to detail was there, the bartender was great with information on Japanese whiskey and cocktails. The dessert was blew my tastes bud away.“

“Sweetleaf is a really nice little cozy spot in LIC. Seems like it would be a good spot to go with some friends if some of you want to have a cocktail, but others don’t.

The latte I had (maple leaf latte) was a very nice flavor and just the right sweetness. Highly recommend stopping in and checking this place out if you are in the area.“

“Excellent find along Vernon Blvd in LIC. Had ice coffee and delicious chocolate chip cookie. Looking around see very fresh looking salads and sandwiches being served and enjoyed by patrons. Great variety of muffins, cakes & croissants. All moderately priced. Wish there were more places like this.“

“Birch on 7th Ave and 14th street is my fave spot to get my afternoon skinny flat white during our class break at Pratt. The crew there is always great and I love the tip jar questions. Hang in there dear Birch! Looking forward to seeing you all again when we’re through this.“

“I stumbled onto this place yesterday. I just recently started working around the corner. I entered the coffee shop and I was instantly greeted by such a sweet lady. I ordered the Nutella monster but explained to her that I don’t want it too and she made it absolutely delicious. Tasty and not too sweet at all so I didn’t feel too guilty for bending my diet haha! I also bought an avocado toast with a side of bacon….ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! This morning, I went back….yup, I sure did. Today, I tried the hot Nutella latte (again, less sweet) and was perfect for me! I’m loving this place!! Thanks Sip A Cup!! :)“

“My first time here!! Food was delicious and great portion, my lavender latte so rich!! It’s freezing today and I was able to go inside with my dog. Kinka ( I’m sorry if I spelled it wrong) so sweet and welcoming to me and my pup while we waited for our order.

“I pretty much go to Maman every morning Monday to Friday so much it’s become my morning ritual. William is an awesome kind quick barista with great energy, he makes you feel like you’re apart of the community. I mostly get the cold brew but the croissants are truly the best in the city. I can’t remember life before Maman lol!“

“Thank goodness for Joe coffee. When I showed up to work just a little bit too early, I needed to retreat from the cold. That’s when I discovered Joe which was a 3 minute walk from where I was a welcome retreat.
The girls here greeted me warmly and the space was wonderfully inviting.

“We are new to the neighborhood and this already ranks as a regular spot. The paninis were perfectly warm, crispy, flavorful. The lattes were hot and customized to our preferences. The service was kind and upbeat. Will have to come back for breakfast!“

“@spotdessertbar has been always my fave dessert place when they opened first time many years ago. You can order single dessert or if you want to order varieties of it, they have Omakase deal for $79.95 (5 tapas dessert, 3 pastries and 1 pot of tea).

My top fave is Matcha Lava cake. The moment I cut into it, that warm, gooey pure chocolate started flowing. The outside is perfectly baked, soft with a slight crisp. Not overly sweet, just rich and so satisfying. Paired with a scoop of ny fave Matcha ice cream. Absolute perfection.

Also must order Harvest which is in the shape of plant pot (very creative !). It's layered soft cheesecake, milk tea with raspberry sorbet on the side.

We also ordered Hey Jasmine (jasmine panna cotta, pandan sago, raspberry sauce, jasmine ice cream) and Sweet Beanie (red bean mochi Mousse with black sesame ice cream). They are all so delicious and unique.

Peachy Summer is very refreshing with their shaved ice of white peach granita, passion fruit cremeux and coconut sauce.“

“The quality control at this place is amazing. Every location I visit always has delicious cookies that are crispy on the outside and have a nice crunch yet a warm and gooey center. These cookies even last up to two weeks and it can be reheated using a myriad of kitchen, gadgets, and all methods result in a deliciously warmed up cookie.“

“I go to New York City once year: My co-workers and I take a group of theater students, we see 8 broadways shows, I get a *carrot cake donut* at the Doughnut Plant in Grand Central Station, and I’m a happy girl for one more year. I always have a good experience! I get my favorite, and then something new. Everything I’ve ever tried there has been phenomenal. (This time is was a coffee cake doughnut - it was inspired! SO good!) If Doughnut Plant moved its location to the moon, I’d probably just start taking my theater students there instead, just so I could get my yearly taste test at Doughnut Plant.“

They make the drink exactly how I like them, however whenever I order extra caramel, I never get actually extra. But other than that this atmosphere is the best and this will forever be LIC's best Starbucks!!!“

“Overall, this location is clean, and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately, the one who was taking my order at first had a hard time with English and had to ask someone else to help. There are no bathrooms on site, and there are only a few parking spots, so if it is busy, you may have to find parking on the street, which is no surprise for Brooklyn“
