“Tons of interesting dishes and all were hits pretty much. The heirloom tomato had such a acidic punch that really elevated the dish. The whole fish with chinmichurri sauce is amazing. Their wine selection by the glass is also great. Baba gahnouj is delicious. The only thing I would skip is the brussel sprouts“

“I saw this resturant on Uber Eats, was very impressed by the menu & the variety of plates they offer. Was so impressed by the delicious kebabs, the lamb chops which are extremely soft & tasty. Also got the stuffed grape leaves which is served The real Mediterranean way( stuffed with meat, rice, herbs and parsley). The next time tried the kofta kabab & the liver with onions which had great sauce. The stuffed cabbage rolls comes with lollipop lamb chops. Complements to the chefs for offering all these variations as well as perfect preparation“

“We went there last night for dinner and absolutely loved everything and will definitely go back.
It was my first time having Lebanese food and LOVED it. We had tabouleh salad which is a great starter, herb chicken (which I do not remember the exact name) had amazing potatoes on the side and was super delicious, enough to share.
We got fresh pita on the side and were sooo good, same with sumac fries.
We were their last customers last night and they brought us desert on the house which was AMAZING and one of the best deserts I ever had.
highly recommended, loved it.“

“Fantastic experience at El Cedro! The food was absolutely delicious; we loved the chicken hummus platter and the baked feta cueso. To top it off, the hibiscus tea was incredibly refreshing. Our server was wonderful, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere with beautiful paintings. Highly recommend!“

“The food here is so good! The staff is very nice, you can order inside or use their digital kiosks outside. There is only outdoor seating but it’s perfect for the summer. The hummus is some of the best I have ever had, and the mint lemonade was delicious! They have vegetarian options and bowls you can alter to be gluten free. Come here!“

“Lebanese food served in small plates. Really enjoyed the options they had. The labne plate and pita bread is so fresh and delicious. The batata was crispy and excellent. The rice dish flavor was good it’s just we had some very hard pieces of rice mixed in- not sure if it was because of being reheated too much or being a little stale.“

“Want to make your pallet dance? Of course you do! Boutros is the place to go from their tantalizing cocktails to their original baba ghanoush and falafel you’ll be simply amazed. Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. The short rib wraps are beautiful salad and baba ghanoush to name a few. Hurry up, you won’t be disappointed!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“The five stars for the hummus, -absolutely incredible. We also got a swarms lamb wrap and a chicken wrap which were delicious and unique with slices of pickle.
Smear some humus on that wrap- forget about it.

“I’ve been going to the Tripoli since I was a child (1975, so I was 2 years old). At first, the draw was their authentic pastries (their Birds Nests are TOP NOTCH!!!). To this day, I love their traditional Lebanese cuisine (their humus, babaghanouj and tabouli are AMAZING as is their shish-kabob and chicken shishtaouk). If ever you find yourself on the border between Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill Brooklyn (NYC), I can’t recommend them enough!!!“

“We ordered so many incredible signature dishes. The lamb moussaka was 5 stars! To really test them we ordered one of the best lahmanchoun’s we’ve tasted in NY! Cozy atmosphere, attentive waitstaff, Momo JC definitely exceeded our expectations!“

“This place is truly a hidden gem. I got the ginger falafel bowl and it was packed with amazing flavours and everything was fresh and clearly home made. I’d say the falafel might be the best in the city. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality and size.“

“One of the best shawarmas I have had in the US after leaving Michigan! Their chicken shawarma wrap was incredible and bursting with flavor. Also you get great value for money! I can't wait to go back and try their entire menu over the course of time.
Oh and you can skip Zyara now, this is THE new spot for shawarma in Astoria!“

“We went as a family and the food was delicious—cherry kebab, shish tawook, kebbah and hummus were all amazing. The atmosphere was excellent, and our server was very helpful in guiding us on what to order. They also assisted with our reservation, even though we arrived without one. I’ll definitely come again and highly recommend visiting to enjoy the restaurant’s great“

“We ordered for the first time tonight from Sammy, former proprietor of JuJu’s Bagels now transformed into El Toum. We ordered 4 items and they were ready for pickup in less than 25 minutes. The Mixed Kebab platter, Kofta Burger with fries, Falafel Sandwich with extra tahini sauce, and El Toum Appetizer were refreshingly homemade, tasted delicious, and proved outstanding bangs for the buck. More than enough food for a family of four with leftovers. This is a very welcome addition to a neighborhood missing this kind of fare. I highly recommend supporting this local business. Some of the best falafel and tabouli I’ve tasted in quite some time too!“

“This is a great restaurant. It's casual but the food is very high quality and delicious! My son had the Lava Chicken Shawarma Arabic and I had the Vegan Arabic Sandwich. We got the combo for each (with fries and a drink) and the total price was $40. The vegan sandwich was amazing - lots of vegetables and falafel - all seasoned wonderfully. I think it is the best vegan sandwich I ever had. The chicken shawarma was great too - and plated up beautifully. The restaurant's atmosphere is serene and relaxing. A++.“

“Have you walked past this place and thought about trying it? The smells, the look, and the staff all seem to invite you in but you haven't made up your mind yet? Well this is your formal invitation to take that step. The food is delicious, the burgers flavorful, the lamb soft with a hint of common Halal food cart notes but with a twist that raises it to another level of culinary experience.
Remember when it used to be a fried chicken spot? The new place has not been lost in terms of service and comfort food. Trust me. There's still a lot of fried tasty foods for those nights when you want to stay in with a movie and appetizers.
They have platters for dinner nights or lunch dates.
The hummus and lentil soup are some of my favorite lighter things to order.
I buy olive oil from them for my house.
I'm making this review because a lot of people ask me about this place. They're mainly skeptical to go in because it's still a friend chicken spot in their hearts but they're always curious to know how good the food from their new menu.
Hands down, no bs, it's amazing.
Same owner. Different menu. Trust me, go in and order something 😁 try their drinks, they have some fun looking bottles that are sooooo good 👍“

“Whenever I visit Manhattan, even though there are many restaurants and places to eat, I always find myself going to Naya Express for Lebanese and Syrian food — it’s consistently wonderful. The prices are fantastic, the place is clean and fast, and the staff is incredibly friendly.“

“Good, healthy, affordable food and quick service. There’s usually a long line during lunch hour but it moves pretty quickly. I like that they give regular portions so I don’t overeat. More of a grab and go spot than a sit and eat spot.“

“The quality of the meat from the butcher in the back is outstanding—everything tastes incredibly fresh and flavorful. I especially love their sujok, the spicy beef sausage. It’s perfectly seasoned with just the right kick, and you can usually find it in the freezer section, available in different levels of spiciness.
After the recent construction, the place looks fantastic. The new layout is clean, modern, and well-organized. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into enhancing both the food offerings and the overall atmosphere.
Don’t miss their manaeesh—they’re absolutely delicious. Whether you choose za’atar, cheese, or a mix, each one is baked fresh and bursting with flavor.“
