“There are a few places in the city I'm always a bit surprised at with how easy it is to snag a reservation. If we're going on merit, Gus's should be a competitive spot to snag dinner. “These are the perogies I dream of. hand made generations old recipe both classic ingredients and newer flavors, vegan offerings too. BaBa’s is a must do for us every time we’re in NYC and recently we enjoyed the hand crafted delights at home when we received a bunch as a gift after having a baby for my postpartum nurturing. Just like the name every pierogis feels like a bit of love from grandmas kitchen straight to the heart ( by way of the tummy) We love you guys and we love babas!“

“Recently went and although the food and waiter staff were great, we were expecting what we seen on here. There was no performances. An empty space. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.“

This beat my reccomendation for us to get pizza after spending 7 hours at nybg.The service was exceptional, we had the whole place to ourselves. Desserts are amazing. “We went there for lunch on a whim on a weekday. The place is tiny and clean and doesn't look fancy. The food was Balkan style - either Serbian or Croatian - and it was very good. There was only one person working there and she took care of us well.“

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, friendly smile and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for the evening. I started with the Georgian salad and eggplant rolls, which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. “I am glad I picked this place to have lunch with family. Best Uzbek food I tried so far. Tashkent plow tasted so good. They offer meat and pumpkin samsa. They have nice dessert options. We tried napoleon cake, Uzbek baklava, medovik came(Russian honey cake) They were delicious. Green tea is good to try. Parking is on street. Staff were great. Clean and neat restaurant.“

Everything was delicious and authentic just like when visiting the Czech Republic. We also had some great Czech beer! Service was also very friendly and the restaurant itself looks very nice and cozy inside. Koliba is truly a gem in New York City and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Czech cuisine!“

“The vibe was really nice! When we got there yesterday, the tables were empty, so we didn’t have to wait at all. First off, HUGE thanks to Sofia and Silina for the amazing service everything was just perfect.
The food honestly felt like art. The portions were super generous, so you can easily split each dish between 2–3 people. We ordered the Eden salad, Eden burgers, pasta carbonara, I think filet mignon, mix of fruits, lava cake, and a few drinks.
Everything was fantastic, shoutout to the chef! I don’t know who was working in the kitchen yesterday, but even though he/she were alone, everything came out fast and tasted incredible. No words. Just thank you to all of you!

P.S. Sofia made a great hookah, everyone really enjoyed it. We’re definitely coming back here again.“
