“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chito Gvrito and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, friendly smile and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for the evening. The menu offers a perfect balance of classic favorites and innovative dishes (shout out to the Chief), ensuring there’s something for everyone. I started with the Georgian salad and eggplant rolls, which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For my main course, I chose Ojakhuri which was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. My friends selected: Adjaruli khachapuri (cheese and egg in the middle of deliciously baked bread) and Shrimp dish. This goes well with chacha and compote drink, make sure to have few shots. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to make recommendations based on our preferences. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, enhancing the overall dining experience. To top it all off, we indulged in the dessert, had 4 various ones that we split and all were AMAZING! This was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. It was clear that every dish was prepared with care, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Overall, I highly recommend Chito Gvrito for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!“

“Hello to everyone who loves delicious Moldovan food and the lively music that kept us dancing all evening—we didn't want to leave. There was a large group of us, as we were celebrating the birthday of our friend, a television director.“

“So, my buddy asked if I had been to this hot new restaurant called Markette. My friends and I had tried to get reservations a few weeks ago, on a Saturday night, but it was booked solid. After having the pleasure of eating there, I understand why.
For starters, the space is beautiful. It reminded me of that Starbucks in Paris that's in a former bank building, with its high ceilings, ornate chandeliers , gorgeous hand painted murals and a sexy up lit bar.
We ordered the codfish fritters (they were ok, too much potato and not enough fish, but the sauce they were served with was very tasty) Braised Oxtail Gratin (delicious!!) Lamb and Roti ( the lamb was cooked to perfection and the sauce it was nestled in was good enough to eat alone, but it arrived to our table cold) For dessert, we shared the Soursop Trifle, which we were super excited about trying 'cause it's rare to find the delicious soursop on a menu. Unfortunately, it was rare locating it in the trifle too. The overwhelming flavor was the pineapple, which was cleverly made red by soaking it, in hibiscus juice. It was tasty, for sure, but too overpowering for the delicate soursop.
I'd rate the food a solid 8 and am looking forward to trying more of it. You should go.“

“The restaurant is inside a gallery which is a pretty cool concept. Tasting menu started off with a really delicious bite of the sweet nori. It was refreshing and light and a great way to start the meal. The artichoke which was a doughnut with truffle inside was very heavy and not that enjoyable. The focaccia bread was excellent and airy and the tomato butter was absolutely amazing. The yellowtail was refreshing with plenty of citrus components on the plate. The halibut was cooked to perfection, super light and sauce was flavorful. I really enjoyed the Iberia pork, it was very tender and all the diff sauce and flavors worked well. The 36 month Comte cheese was a delicious dessert, not too sweet and the cheese was so umami. I found the peach dessert to just be ok, flavors were a bit odd for me. Service was good but I found it was a bit too much they kept trying to get us to do the add-ons and order more wine and extras.
Overall a pretty solid meal though there were some misses for me.“

“These are the perogies I dream of. hand made generations old recipe both classic ingredients and newer flavors, vegan offerings too. BaBa’s is a must do for us every time we’re in NYC and recently we enjoyed the hand crafted delights at home when we received a bunch as a gift after having a baby for my postpartum nurturing. Just like the name every pierogis feels like a bit of love from grandmas kitchen straight to the heart ( by way of the tummy) We love you guys and we love babas!“

“Accidental stop today because of a traffic accident… and I ended up discovering my new favorite burek spot. Love at first bite.
The place is simple, home-style, and very easygoing. It felt like a small family spot — I think the people running it might be Albanian. Super friendly atmosphere.
The lovely lady behind the counter served me what can only be described as a slice of heaven: a meat burek that was flaky, warm, and absolutely delicious. And the cappuccino was fantastic too.
My day started as a cold, windy disaster… and somehow turned into “okay, let’s grab a whole pie to go.”
Definitely coming back.“
“Wallsé Next Door is a more casual companion to its upscale counterpart, offering Austrian-inspired comfort dishes in a relaxed setting. The menu is simple yet well-executed, with familiar flavors done right. The atmosphere is laid-back and neighborhood-friendly. A great spot for an easy, satisfying meal in NYC.“

“We went there for lunch on a whim on a weekday. The place is tiny and clean and doesn't look fancy. The food was Balkan style - either Serbian or Croatian - and it was very good. There was only one person working there and she took care of us well.“

“Bufon proved to be a wonderfully welcome culinary surprise. The atmosphere is warm, intimate and charming while the service is receptive and courteous without being overbearing.
The culinary offerings, as any excellent restaurant should have, are the star of the show however. The menu is spectacular, with several bold choices that reaffirm their confidence in their decisions where many other restaurants would play it safer. I have to mention the clams, which I believe are among the best I’ve had across four continents.
The green beans are also phenomenal, and the beef cheek bourguignon is tender with a perfectly executed sauce. Looking forward to my next visit“

“My friend and I came for a wonderful dinner last night. My friend had Svickova and I had the roast pork with sauerkraut, and dumplings. Everything was delicious and authentic just like when visiting the Czech Republic. We also had some great Czech beer! Service was also very friendly and the restaurant itself looks very nice and cozy inside. Koliba is truly a gem in New York City and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Czech cuisine!“

The food is always fresh and quick, they have a great option for deserts as well. Good music, and comfy seating. I also love that they show the fights and games on a big screen when there are events.“

“This place was insane oh my god I loved it so much! My manager recommended the place when she heard I was visiting NYC and I can not express what an absolute blast me and my husband had. We didn't do much research going in so our surprise at seeing a real in person BeetleJuice performer (and Bob, love him).
He sang. He joked. He teased and flirted and bounced around every bit like Beetlejuice, never taking it too far or making the joke go on too long, I've never had so much fun dining in my life.
The food was amazing, the Lalaurie fires are TO DIE FOR, and the drinks were so fun. Plus some of the meals came with little decor you could take home like Sweeney Todd's (fake) shaving razor which is just such a fun little souvenir for our trip.
Already wishing we could go back!“

“We got the mixed platter and it tasted extremely authentic and delicious. Mashed potatoes were so creamy and buttery and the meats were seasoned to perfection. On top of that, the food was affordable and excellently portioned for the community it serves. For dessert, I’d recommend their traditional fried dough in syrup. The texture and sweetness is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Thank you for an amazing night.“

“Recently went and although the food and waiter staff were great, we were expecting what we seen on here. There was no performances. An empty space. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.“
