“cameriera italiana con capelli corti. scortese e molto maleducata. non tornerò piu. non ha saputo ne servire il cliente oltre al fatto che dovrebbe farsi un corso di corretto italiano prima di parlare con un cliente in quel modo. pessima pubblicità al locale. peccato e mi dispiace ma non tornerò più.“

“Wonderful place for some Italian, and the service was great. The bread was definitely a highlight, safe some to lap up the sauce after you finish the pasta. For dessert we had the tiramisu. The happy hours drinks are also delicious, would recommend the tiramisu martini“

“UNDERRATED. They are making some of the freshest and most delicious pasta in nyc! They cook the pasta perfectly and all of their sauces are tasty and delicious. The toppings are great and I highly recommend getting their burrata, it’s huge! The order is made fresh in-front of you and is usually done in about 5 minutes. This is the perfect spot for a quick meal that tastes like it was made in a fancy restaurant. The portions are large so I usually get one and share it but if you are really hungry, you could probably eat one. This is my new go to pasta spot. It’s like a salad bar but with pasta, You have to try it!“

“It’s a small little shop…easy to pass by but DON’T! Delicious food that has a unique flair. Small with not much spraying, but friendly service, kind atmosphere, and great food. We just happened to glance at it, and we are glad we made the choice to try it out!“

“Wonderful dinner from start to finish. We had the pleasure of being served by Ramos, who was attentive, affable, and awesome. We started with the tots & caviar, which was like McDonald hash browns on steroids and the tuna cannolis (also on the smaller side but undeniably delicious). We got the duck ravioli which had a great balance of umami and acidity (the ravioli itself was cooked to perfection). We also were lucky enough to finesse the off menu truffle burger, which is easily an S tier burger (same level as lions bar and better than a PJ Clark’s - steakhouse style, not smashed) Fries were unreal. The dirty Martin’s (w/blue cheese olives) were also perfection and the Cali cab to wash it all down was equally delectable. 10/10. Great food, ambiance, and service. Will be back.“

“Visited on Tuesday evening quite late and had such an amazing experience at Osteria Nonnino. We shared a pizza to start, followed by fish and the vodka pasta for mains – every dish was absolutely outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and we felt so well looked after from start to finish. The food was honestly second to none. Such a hidden gem, would highly recommend to anyone in NYC.“
“Been a realtor in Brooklyn most my life and you know what they say location location location well this time it’s Pasta pasta pasta I’m mean it’s just pasta however if you like pasta and you don’t make it yourself this is the only place when in Brooklyn you need to go. If you care about fresh pasta—whether you’re a chef, a serious home cook, or simply someone who values true quality—this is a must-visit destination. A genuine temple of fresh pasta, and a place Brooklyn can proudly call its own. Beyond the pasta, the shop has a high-end Italian market vibe with a great selection of sauces, imported pantry staples, fresh mozzarella, and more — all at fair prices for New York City. It somehow strikes the perfect balance between old-school Italian neighborhood charm and quality you’d expect from a top artisanal producer. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, they let me taste their soon-to-be-offered sourdough pizza. Without question, that pizza alone is going to put this place on another level. Once it officially launches, expect lines as far as the eye can see — just for the pizza. If you want to buy a house come see me if it’s pasta and pizza you’re after go see Savinos! Hey but don’t take my word for it what do I know’, go and see for yourself. Tell em Battaglia sent you’ you could thank me later! Love B…“

“La Trafila is an absolute gem for anyone who loves real Italian pasta. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the passion and precision behind every strand of pasta they produce. This isn’t just a pasta shop — it’s a celebration of Italian tradition, texture, and taste.
What sets La Trafila apart is their dedication to freshness and authenticity. Every shape, from the delicate tagliolini to the perfectly ridged rigatoni, is crafted with care using traditional bronze dies (trafile in Italian — now you get the name!). The result? Pasta that holds sauce beautifully and cooks to perfection every time.
Whether you’re a home cook, a chef, or just a pasta lover, this place is heaven. Their seasonal specials are creative and delicious — think truffle-infused tagliatelle or pumpkin gnocchi in the fall. And the team? Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and proud of their work, as they should be.
La Trafila is a rare find in New York: a place where quality, tradition, and innovation meet. Once you try their pasta, there’s no going back.
Bravi!“

“How has Dave Portnoy not reviewed this yet?! It was amazing. Like this is what I expect from all NYC pizza.
I noticed the sign in the front of the store was a screenshot of a Gemini summarization. 1. Interesting marketing, but free and straight to the point so kudos to them. 2. Lots of AI ads in the city but they thought outside of the box by using AI still without a Seed A AI enterprise solution start up company, kudos again!“
“Been eating Raffetto's since I was a baby. The best pasta and ravioli! The spinach fettuccine is amazing!!!
This pasta was always a special treat when my Gma would bring it from NYC to LI. Now I find out their in NJ? I'm going! Its time I start this tradition with my grandbabies!!!!“

“We had a great experience learning how to make pasta! The food was so delicious. This would be something fun to do with a group or family members. Our waiter Mica was fantastic as well as the chef who taught us Anthony. Thanks guys for a fun night in NYC!“
“This is not a restaurant. They make the best fresh made pasta. They have a retail store in little Italy, and this is where they make the pasta.
They will sell to walk in customers, but it's better to order ahead to pickup. They also sell some cheese and sauces, and a few imported items from Italy.
I used to get my pasta from Cassinelli in Astoria, and was very sad when they closed.
Now I get fresh fettuccine all the time. Last time I got a pound each of the egg, tomato and spinach lasagna sheets, and made a few tricolor lasagnas. Just fabulous!“

“Few places are as accommodating as the staff here. The menu, although on available digitally, is extensive. Large selection of GF (gluten free) items. You can start with apps, choose from pizza or pasta as an entree. It is BYOB and that can make for a fun evening. They will accommodate to suit taste, we had someone that was sensitive to sodium, they adjusted sted the entree to suit. The place is small, the food tasty and seriously, the service is over the top.“

“Figlia was the perfect pre-marathon carb load spot. The handmade pasta was absolutely incredible; fresh, perfectly textured, and the kind of pasta you can immediately tell is made in-house with care. And the Neapolitan pizza? Easily one of the best I’ve had in NYC. Light, airy crust with that perfect char and high-quality ingredients that speak for themselves. The whole atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and authentically Italian without trying too hard. Absolutely a neighborhood gem!“

“I like the selection and the sandwiches and dishes are always good. I’m taking a star off because last time I went I got there 10 minutes before closing and they had already locked up. I get it if it’s slow but I just needed to buy some fresh pasta and this was a real disappointment given that they said they were open until 7.“

“We came on a Sunday morning and there wasn't a line. The bakery is a little stand on Palisade Ave. We ordered the bombolonis and the mozarella/prosciutto sandwich.
The bombolonis were some of the best I've ever had (even compared to the ones in Italy) - they were fresh and the vanilla pastry cream wasn't too sweet but still felt indulgent. The donut was so airy and soft. The sandwich wasn't anything to brag about, it was underwhelming unfortunately. The mozzarella was very mild but the flatbread was good; the sandwich was definitely overpriced for what it was. Wish we tried other things on the menu but was in a pinch. I will definitely be back to try the focaccia and pizza options.
Also note that there is hardly any street parking options so be sure to plan ahead! They also have various Italian products for sale such as jarred sauces and dried pasta.“

“Let's start with nice samosas (jumbo size - they have smaller size too). They are very crispy with a good flavor. Nice option for yourself or to share, well better don't share :). Then a Dosa (kind of Indian pancake or burrito) with chicken tásala (they ask you how spicy you want). The chicken has a good flavor, so it s a good option when you are boring to eat traditional fast food. The sauces are ok but the Tamarindo was the best with a sweet and a little spicy flavor. The place is pretty small, you order at the cashier, seat, eat and go. Jumbo Samosas, Dosa and Coke: 14$ is the hit to your wallet. मेरे दोस्त को शुभकामनाएँ 🇮🇳 Enjoy your food my friend 🇺🇸 More Food and Entertainment in NY with your new fiend.... @elmanudominguez (Instagram and YouTube videos)“
