“We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. Really worth it“

“I’ve grown up going to the flushing location and was so excited to see one in LIC. I ordered through Grubhub and had the worst experience with Grubhub. They didn’t have enough drivers and delayed my order 2 hours.. I felt so bad that the restaurant probably already made my food and that it was sitting there. I eventually cancelled with Grubhub because their customer service was abysmal and they still didn’t have a sense of when a courier would get there, but felt so bad that the restaurant would ultimately suffer the loss! The restaurant even called me shortly after the order was cancelled to apologize and explain that the food was already made but that the Grubhub courier never arrived. I’ve never had a restaurant go out of their way to do that. I felt so bad that Grubhub screwed them over. Their food is amazing, but their service is even better. Go in person or call in your order and pick it up. Don’t deal with food delivery apps unless you absolutely must, and if you do I hope your experience is better than mine!“

“I have been eating Paramount's American Paddlefish for many years now. I serve it to all my friends in my caviar pie on holidays and it is enjoyed immensely by all. The caviar is pristine and delicious! Their service is very personal and they will wrap your package if its a gift, beautifully. Amy, one of the owners, even sent me a tin during the lock-down! “Finally went to Moono and it delivered. Each dish held its own with unique flavors. We had a la carte among four of us with a bottle of makeoli and were happily filled with 1 appetizer and 3 entrees. We ordered an extra bowl of white rice which is the move as so many dishes had excellent sauces that you just wanted to soak up with rice, plus the white rice itself is perfect with a sweetness to it.

We had Hoe Muchim + Kim, Beef Hotpot, Mushroom Sotbap, and Galbijjim. It was outstanding from the cold cucumber soup at the beginning to the end. Beef hotpot is great for those who appreciate that pure beef taste and experience- it is lightly seasoned and in my opinion a great contrast to the big flavors of Galbijjim. Galbijjim is a crowd pleaser and easy to enjoy, it is a most indulgent version with meat removed from the bones. We only wished the dish were layered with more vegetables / mushrooms, which were not side characters in this dish. Sotbap was fragrant - only wished that they scooped out the crispy bits, which are the best parts. Maybe they can offer guests the option to serve themselves rather than take away and return with the scooped out bowls for each person.

Also would love to see more makgeolli options on the drinks menu.

After playing semi-pro soccer and now as an amateur, I always come here to enjoy a great time.

“Love Upstate! Happy hour is 5-7 and you get 6 oysters and a beer for $13, plus a little piece of cake comes with the check. All of their food is great and reasonably priced. I would recommend making a reservation or having a back up plan as they are usually pretty busy.“

“I have to say for the small amount of food the prices are a bit high.
The calamares were good, but the cheese plate i wasn't happy with it. They gave me 3 very tiny thin slices of hard white cheese, 1 very small brie, 2 dry pieces of white bread, 1 dry piece of priciutto and what I mostly did not like was the 2 slices of mortadella meat. They could have given a better meat choice also instead of dry bread water crackers would be a better choice.
That's just cheap meat to me. Usually when I order a charcuterie plate I am satisfied. This was not satisfying.
My husband had the burger he said it was OK.
Nothing to brag about.
The Tin building inside has a nice vibe.
Other than that I felt like when I was in France. Very little food with high prices.

Very welcoming and cozy, modern Thai restaurant with the South East Asian flare you'd be looking for if having visited Thailand before. Decor is a mix of modern and traditional which gives a nice feel, ambiance is relaxed.

I was greeted with friendly & warm smiles and seated at the spacious bar area where Yatika helped me decide food/drink choices. I can vouch for the excellent food quality and selection (Northern Thai & Bangkok) having ordered Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao & Tom Kha soup

Shout out to Yatika for the excellent service and making your patrons feel welcomed and wanting to come back! I'd highly recommend and will definitely be back when coming through the city. Double 👍👍“
