“I was first introduced to Carla's two years ago and I have been dreaming of both their Hibiscus Margaritas and Grilled Corn Romaine Salad ever since. YES A SALAD!

Happy to say I finally had the opportunity to return for an intimate birthday celebration and everything was just how I remembered it.

Cute and quaint, with good service and food, a great vibe!

Without a doubt I absolutely ordered the roasted corn salad. It has tomatoes, avocado, roasted corn, Romain lettuce, and an amazing dressing. I added the pan seared chicken. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy, and extremely tender, not overdone. The salad was magical just as I remembered it. In addition the guac was fresh and the Hibiscus Margs was a tasty way to wash it all down.

It's amazing how I dream about this salad. It's a good thing I don't live close because I would have no problem factoring in this salad which is a little pricey into an almost daily budget. Lol.

Needless to say I will not be reminiscing about this salad for two years again. I will be back sooner than you think.

Prices are a little high and portions were small compared to Flushing, but the difference was not extravagant, and for three people we were able to be full for about $90 pre-tip, which is respectable.“

“We had a great time at this location. The atmosphere was cool, the music wasn’t loud, the waiter were busy. For appetizers we had the “CORN ESQUITES” and it was delicious. For our meal we had a feast of food. We try different types of tacos (AL PASTOR, BAJA CRISPY FISH, BEEF RIBEYE DELUXE” and their burritos and it was great! The price of the tacos were steep, I ain’t going to lie. Also if you like American style tacos with lots of cheese and sauces, then these might not be the tacos for you. The alcoholic drink were good! The “Mexican” soda in the bottle was flat for us.

Street parking in this area is not the best.

“😀I have known Manetta's Ristorante since 1990's and have been going there. Food is always excellent and the prices are good. The staff and servers are pleasant. Lisa is always friendly and accommodating --- greeted me and my hubby with a pleasant smile and also checked up to make sure that everything was fine during the course of our meal. Server, Jasmine waited on us a couple of times --- one of it was today, 2/9/2024. We were happy with her service and everything else. Our overall experience with Manetta's Ristorante is excellent. “My husband and I had the most unforgettable experience at Cannelle Patisserie on Sunday, February 1. We brought in the gender results for our future baby, and from the moment we walked in, the staff treated our little secret with so much warmth, excitement, and genuine joy.

They were thrilled to be part of our surprise and went completely above and beyond—creating the yummiest box of pastries in the color of our baby’s gender for us to open later at home. They even included the sweetest handwritten note and, to our absolute delight, a precious little pink cake. (It was a girl! 💕)

I am down for a pat down and appreciate safety, but I arrived at at 8pm and during the very lengthy and thorough pat down the bouncer kept asking if I'd been bar hopping and that if I'm intoxicated I can't go in...which also fair, but I'm in my forties, it was 8pm, and I was entirely sober. Respect taking a job serious, but I felt oddly unwelcome and it set a tone for us that the kind inside staff didn't quite undo. I would be hesitant to bring a guest here again.“

“Omg I just have one thing to say. I’m pregnant and came here for the first time today. I got a chocolate chip cookie thinking oh nice sweet treat. The cookie was so good I’ve had 4 total today. This is the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve had in my entire life and I can’t wait to stop by this weekend to pick up a ton to keep at home! “I’m eating their falafel wrap over 3hrs later and it is still yummy. They pack it with flavorful fillings and sauces. My favorite is the eggplant spread. Plenty of seating there and throughout the bldg. It’s a bit out of the way for me, but it’s great for the LaGuardia community.

They do get slammed during peak lunch hours, but I’ve always received courteous service despite the wait.
