“NYC typically rivals the Chinese food you can find in the Bay Area and Hupo certainly helps that case. Focusing on Sichuan style cuisine, Hupo has a wide array of entrees and bites that will leave you full and wanting to come back for more. They certainly do deserve their Bib Gourmand. We had a reservation for 5 set for dinner and were glad we did so as the place was very busy when we arrived. The interior is clean and simple with no frills. Once seated we were informed that they only have digital menus through a QR code which was a bit difficult to navigate with 2 out of the 5 of us being older and not as tech savvy but we figured it out anyways.
We ordered a few different entrees and split them family style so we’ll go over them generally. Side note: although many of the dishes are noted as being spicy you can request that they be made without any spice. For dim sum/appetizers we ordered the scallion pancakes and pork soup dumplings. The scallion pancakes were okay, nothing special about them but the pork soup dumplings were a bit better with a tasty broth inside and nice chewy dumplings. For entrees we got duck fried rice, braised beef noodle soup, beef with broccoli, and dan dan noodles.
The duck fried rice was very good. Many places opt to use day-old rice for fried rice and you can often tell by the texture, but if they do that here then we were fooled because the rice tastes fresh and the duck was perfect. The braised beef noodle soup was also good, not the best we’ve had, but still good with the beef having a nice texture and the broth being rich. The beef with broccoli was great, the beef velvetized and delicious, the broccoli, well, broccoli. Lastly, the dan dan noodles were fantastic. The noodles were cooked perfect, the minced beef very delicious, and the bok choy tasty as well. As it is food wise, Hupo is a standout, particularly in the Western Queens area, the only knock being its service is a bit iffy with the workers being not too warm but for the meal you get, we’re willing to shut up and just eat. A fantastic restaurant all around!“

“Yesterday, on the Mid-Autumn Festival night, we brought our parents and children to have a meal together. We usually go to Flushing for hot pot, but we didn't expect such a good hot pot so close to LIC. There are many special dishes, all of which taste good. The bell shrimp slider and egg yolk shrimp slider are both good. The medium spicy base is just right. I will try the spiciest one next time.
But what makes me come back is the great service. The person who served our table was Tao, who was very attentive and provided us with soup and vegetables in a timely manner. One time, the soup accidentally spilled. They quickly replaced us with a new pot of soup and replenished various dishes. Before leaving, we were even allowed to taste the homemade soy milk in the store. Not because of these dishes, but because it can be seen from these actions that Tao really cares. He takes care of our family with intention. He hopes that we can eat happily and not be unhappy because of accidents. He only observes such subtle things out of kindness. , the service is so attentive. This kind of service is no longer common in fast-paced hot pot restaurants, and I hope that this original intention can be maintained. Thank you Tao for giving us the opportunity to take our children and parents to enjoy this wonderful experience. We will come back for food soon. I wish you a happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
In addition, the ladies and gentlemen in all the stores are very friendly. When passing by, they will subconsciously check the table to see if there is anyone who needs service. They will also say hello and say thank you for coming. It feels very friendly, like home away from home.
Thank you for your delicious food and beautiful hearts.
Kid-friendliness: It would be better to prepare some small children's plates instead of plastic boxes“

“We had a great time at this location. The atmosphere was cool, the music wasn’t loud, the waiter were busy. For appetizers we had the “CORN ESQUITES” and it was delicious. For our meal we had a feast of food. We try different types of tacos (AL PASTOR, BAJA CRISPY FISH, BEEF RIBEYE DELUXE” and their burritos and it was great! The price of the tacos were steep, I ain’t going to lie. Also if you like American style tacos with lots of cheese and sauces, then these might not be the tacos for you. The alcoholic drink were good! The “Mexican” soda in the bottle was flat for us.
Street parking in this area is not the best.
The food was great.“

“My Most Favorite Food ! Super deluxe bistro-fare styled food & beverage menu. Great wholesome desserts ! Popular for private meetings, dates, and family gatherings year-round. Super managerial staffing. Warm, open, friendly environment that's cozy in Winter and cooler in Summer ! With a slightly uppercut atmosphere and panache.Permanently closed on January 7, 2022.“

“We are regular customers of CARLA. The food is consistently delicious. There’s something for everyone here (one of us is vegetarian and the other is not. Plenty of options for all.) It never disappoints. The staff (especially Lisa and Pablo) are always welcoming, attentive, and eager to make sure our dining experience is outstanding. CARLA is a little gem. Don’t miss out! P&G“

“My husband and I have eaten here twice: both times we’ve enjoyed delicious pizza, pasta, wine, coffee, and desserts. The staff are attentive and kind without hovering. Most recently, a couple and their young son were having dinner too. Beebe’s is a great choice for so many different people and families.“

“This is a great spot for a quick French dessert or sandwich takeout! My only minor gripe is that they often sell out of their best sandwich options early, leaving the same limited selection available in the afternoons. I’m no expert, but wouldn’t it make sense to prepare more of their best sellers and fewer of the sandwiches that consistently go unsold?“

“Very simple place with some stools and a counter but if you live in the neighborhood just take it to go. I can’t confirm they always do this but when I ordered the guy in the back stated slapping some noodles and made my meals to order. The noodles were nice and chewy, the sauce was spicy with a bit of good depth (not overly complex but also not too simple). There was just the right amount of pork meat that was tender enough to break into strips to make eating a little less messy. One of the best things is my dish was 13 bucks. Which is a nice price for a good meal. They are also a chain with one in mid town Manhattan that I’ve been to and the lamb cumin noodles were also great. Hard to go wrong with fresh pulled noodles that is kind to your wallet.“

“I made my own bowl with green falafel and chicken shawarma. I was really pleased by the variety of toppings and sauces, as well as the options for Israeli couscous and/or greens for the base. My chicken was very flavorful, tender, and shredded perfectly. The falafel were a good size, very crispy, and well-balanced with herbs and garlic. I had hummus, very creamy, also well-balanced and tasting so fresh. The beets were sweet and tender. I also enjoyed the tender carrots and salty pickles. I highly recommend this affordable feast.“

“Authentic Japanese spot serving quality cuts at a fraction of the price of other places. Particularly enjoyed the salmon and tuna cuts as well as the takoyaki. The atmosphere transports you back to little hole-in-the-walls in Japan and the staff are so sweet and attentive. Will definitely come back!“

“😀I have known Manetta's Ristorante since 1990's and have been going there. Food is always excellent and the prices are good. The staff and servers are pleasant. Lisa is always friendly and accommodating --- greeted me and my hubby with a pleasant smile and also checked up to make sure that everything was fine during the course of our meal. Server, Jasmine waited on us a couple of times --- one of it was today, 2/9/2024. We were happy with her service and everything else. Our overall experience with Manetta's Ristorante is excellent. I highly recommend.“

“This restaurant is truly authentic Italian, and the food quality is exceptional. We ordered the Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza and the Diavola Pizza. The crust is classic Neapolitan style — thin with a slight chew — and honestly, it’s all about that crust. The sauce was full of flavor, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of cheese and a little kick. The prosciutto pizza was equally delicious.
The Seafood Pasta was on another level. The dish is prepared in a pan, then topped with a thin layer of pizza dough and baked in the oven to form a perfect dome. At the table, you peel back the dome and dip it into the rich, flavorful sauce — OMG, it was incredible. From now on, I’ll be comparing every seafood pasta to this one. If you love seafood pasta, this is a must-order dish.
I only wish I lived in New York so I could visit Sotto Le Stelle more often. The service was outstanding, and it’s clear the Sotto Le Stelle team takes great pride in the food they serve. Our server, Bigo, was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and added to the overall experience. We definitely will be back.“

“Wonderful vibe, and authentic ramen! That broth is very rich, the noodles are stretchy, the eggs are cooked perfectly, and the pork was tender! I left full and satisfied. I also got takoyaki, both items came out piping hot. I look forward to trying their other dishes.“

I had the Kai Ra-Berd (Egg Bomb) with ground pork and an unsweetened iced Jasmine green tea for a drink. The Kai Ra-Berd was really delicious. I definitely recommend it.
