“My friend and I went into Jill’s on a busy Wednesday evening. A very nice crowd filled the bar and seats. We started off with the Birria Tacos which were amazing and ordered a steak sandwich each. Opinions about this Mamaroneck institution are as strong and mixed as their cocktails, but as various bars open and close all around it, this place stays true to itself. It's a neighborhood dive bar of the sort that are ubiquitous in my native Wisconsin, but rare gems in the NYC metro. Craft cocktails and small batch IPAs will not be found here, but simple mixed drinks and domestic drafts are always on hand. Darts and a few other bar games are cheap or free, and the beautiful original window storefront opens up wide to let the warm air in on summer nights. I have had some great memories here and it always feels like a sip of home.“

“We were able to snag a table for two at the last minute with the help of a very accommodating hostess. We spent 10 minutes waiting at the bar, where the bartender was quick, efficient and friendly. Our table was a cozy (not cramped) corner booth for two and the seating was very comfy. Laraine was our sever and she was great. Attentive without intruding. Quick without being frantic. Excellent excellent service. The food was delicious and served hot. There is nothing that we would change about our visit except we should have tried this restaurant sooner!“

“I came here on a wednesday night with my wife after a day of travelling and our waitress Nia was very helpful. My wife had some questions about the menu and Nia was very knowledgeable. We don't eat out often and Nia helped us understand the promotions on the menu. The drinks were strong and did not taste watered down. Overall I am very happy with this experience. The food came out fast and was great. This really would’ve been a 5 star review had it not been for the manager/supervisor Jose. We had asked the hostess for a high chair and never received one. I had made eye contact with Jose for a minute or two and finally just flagged him down. Rather than just grabbing it himself he went to find the waiter who was busy punching in our order…just one suggestion Jose, lead from the front….support your staff and help fill in the gaps rather than talking up clients at the bar.“

The lamb lollipops were tender and perfectly cooked. We shared the cowboy ribeye which was very tender and flavorful. The sole provensal was also delicious and hot line a fish dish I have ever had. “Upscale but not too posh place in Greenwich with a menu that will please almost everyone! It was our first time in the area and this place stood out. The staff was very friendly and food was very good. We didn’t get any starters and I ordered the pork cooked well done so it took a while to get our food, that’s not a complaint just a warning. I would recommend getting a starter, especially if you are drinking because my margarita was stiff! Wish they had some mocktails. It’s a lovely place. Great place for a date night.

Vegetarian options: They had multiple non-meat forward dishes, tofu, mushroom. Etc.

I loved that there were options for everyone, whether you're craving something hearty or something lighter. The Buffalo Cauliflower bites were a standout perfectly crunchy and packed with flavor. “Our waitress appeared to be in a bad mood, not welcoming at all. The food was awful. My burger bun was hard as a rock, the bacon was hard and cold, my kids' broccoli was swimming in some weird oil like liquid, inedible, the chicken Mac& Cheese bowl tasted warm and seemed microwabable.....and we literally had to send back the wine carafe, it was BITTER!!! Needless to say a waste of money! Sorry, I wouldn't recommend, cute place but that is all.“

“As a first-time tourist in United States I was amazed by this place. First of all, Emma is such a cute dog and there were lots of her pictures around! Secondly, the atmosphere gave me a real American experience. And finally the food was delicious - I’ve ordered an onion soup with fish and chips and my friends went for some salads and all of us were very pleased with the choice. Our waiter was a very funny and kind man, unfortunately we’ve only been passing through Westchester but next time I’ll make sure to come here again!“
