The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

“I've been visiting Johnny's for over 30+years. Today I went for a lobster roll which replaced the shrimp roll. last year this lobster was so delicious 😋 couldn't wait till the summer. unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. it is not longer on a garlic bun and now served on a plain hot dog bun :( also flavorless! last yr price was $24 and now up to $28 with no flavor and blah bun. please bring back the recipe from years before. thanks“

“A visit to the Kee Oyster House is not to be missed. We enjoyed a lovely dining experience with the maitre d sorting a table by the window for us and quickly we were whisked there for a delicious evening . I had the seafood salad special starter, followed by the linguine with clams and my companions were similarly impressed with their choices. The Malbec was exceptional and we fully enjoyed our evening's dining. This restaurant remains the jewel in the crown of seafood dining experiences not only in White Plains but can more than hold its own with any in Westchester county. Will be back soon.“

“We came here on a Wednesday around lunch time. The service was great and our waiter was very helpful in deciding what we should order. All of his food and drink recommendations were great. The boils were some of the best seafood I've had in New York. The shrimp and crab were cooked to perfection. The fried platters were flavorful, crispy, and cooked to perfection. I would definitely come here again.“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“Best fried or steamed fish you will ever have from a store front. And seriously maybe the cheapest. My go to is the fried flounder sandwich, $5 today, sometimes $6 cash for two huge pieces depending upon market price. They give you the tarter and lemon and tons of other condiments and spices to put on yourself, just how you like it, before they neatly wrap it up and bag it for you. I always tip them two bucks. Been coming and thankful for them for the last 25 years when they used to be a block south. There are similar looking joints but none nearly as consistently good as Dyre Fish is. I have tried so many, hoping. It is the oil they dont allow to be used too long and the fresh fish picked up daily at Hunts Point Fish Market. And the prices have barely gone up in all that time.“

“Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and given our choice of seating. (It was not that busy.) Waiter patiently brought water and waited. He saw we were enjoying the atmosphere and looking at the menu. Bread and some items of carrots, sweet peppers cheeze were placed on the table. We ordered a huge spread of shrimp, calamari, filet fish, scallops, and baked potato with sour cream. Salmon and jumbo shrimp, which also came with a baked potato. (On the house was a dish of sweet corn on the cob and yellow rice; delicious.) Delicious, delicious delicious. We could not finish. The shrimp delicate yet firm well seasoned. The salmon had a light bread topper succulent to pallet. The baked potato (would have liked chives, well cooked. We were not rushed or bothered as we sat to stuff ourselves. The mid day weekend 🙌 😎 👌. Doggy bag finished that evening, still full of flavor and joy. Sammy's, I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to experience good sea food cooking. “Overall, the food was excellent and left a great impression. The octopus and potato was delicious but could benefit from a little more salt or acidity to bring the flavors together. The mezze bowls were a highlight, with the bread standing out as particularly delicious. The branzino was cooked well. The citrus salad was fresh and good.

Service was a bit rushed, likely because they noticed we had a squirmy toddler with us. While we didn't mind this, I could see how it might be a bit off-putting in a more relaxed adult-only setting. One small improvement could be a clearer explanation of the dishes when they arrive at the table.

We didn't have dessert this time, although we did look over the menu. I noticed the after-dinner drinks were not listed on the desserts menu.

All in all, it was a very good dining experience for Westchester, and we’re looking forward to returning.“

“My favorite place for Dominican food. Sol was so helpful and sweet and helped me choose which types of food by explaining everything patiently. A wonderful staff person that makes me want to come back every day. The food is made fresh and it’s authentic Dominican food according to the locals. The place is beautiful and modern and clean. BTW if you get a special to go you can get a free can of (ginger ale or Sunkist). But if you eat in you don’t get the free soda. They already include 15% tip on your bill so no need to pay extra beyond the bill unless you want to. And if you get the grilled salmon steak special which is $11.95 and includes 2 pieces of maduro (sweet plantain) and rice it has bones. But if you get the fillet salmon they debone it and it’s more expensive at $24.95 and comes with 2 sides.“
