Consistency is key, and Hazuki nails it every single time. It’s become a favorite for our whole family — even the kids are obsessed (and trust me, that says a lot).

“The only thing that bothered me was the girl that comes around to pick up plates after eating. She was trying to pick up plates we were not done with multiple times & at one point without asking if we were done. And the waiter took a long time to come back & check on our table. It wasn't even that busy but waiting for the waiter to come back was a bit annoying.“

“I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.

“I am so happy to live right near Kiku because they are a solid, authentic place, which is so hard to find. Their beef and broccoli as well as the lo mein is as good as Chinatown. Some Chinese takeout places I’ve tried in the outer boroughs use really low quality meat and skimp on the good ingredients, but not Kiku! The sushi always tastes fresh and the proportion of stuffing to rice is perfect. There’s a parking lot right outside which is very convenient for pickup.“

Tempura wasn’t comparable quality to other places in and around NyC at a similar price point.
