The woman at the front was extremely helpful in giving me suggestions, and you could tell they actually enjoy the food they serve. And they should, because I got home and bit into the taco and immediately put this place down as a go to spot going forward lol.“

“Had the pleasure of eating at the Greenport location. Two of my HS girlfriends and myself on moderately busy on Sunday (1012/24) at about 5:30. A young waiter named Brian was our server. We first ordered drinks, mine was the margarita with the pomegranate swirl. So delicious!! Refreshing and frosty! We shared the Mexican Street corn and the three dips with chips, which were freshly made. So fabulous! So tasty. The salsa, guacamole and queso were just perfect, each different but delicious!! The corn was sweet and flavorful. I had three tacos in hard shells. Fried chicken, fried shrimp and the marinated steak. Each one was different and very fresh. My one friend, is a vegetarian and the other is gluten intolerant BUT! They each found many yummy choices! I’ve been trying to get to this restaurant for several years, and finally the planets aligned! Brian was well trained, patient and informative with a good humor. The interior is bright, festive and clean. So much food, I could not finish all of it. And!! the restroom was clean! You should be very proud of this business! We will be back! Thank you!!“

“As usual the food and drinks were delicious. Unfortunately the waiter was rude. He screwed up my order. Then came over and twice asked me to admit I ordered something I didn’t. The waitresses were nice as always. Nothing was done by him. He did not apologize. Did not even offer to comp a drink or something. Not that I was looking for something free. He didn’t care. Really sad. At least the waitresses apologized.“

“Absolutely delicious 🤤 was given a sample of the chicken bacon ranch today(they just gave me as a bonus 😍) it was really perfect. I also picked up some other special slices and they are just as good. All the staff is above and beyond polite and such a beautiful team. We always feel welcome and full. ““Wow!” I took one bite of the steak taco and just said “oh my God” like five times- WOW ! Amazing flavor. Amazing amazing amazing ! Three tacos and a side of rice and beans were enough for me and I usually get six tacos at other places that I may never go back to again lol. No joke- these were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had and I’m originally from Jackson Heights, Queens- so I’ve basically tried every type of taco possible - beef- chicken- Al Pastor- everything aside from lengua. “Hands down the best Mexican place in the area. Flavorful, authentic food at a great price point. The chicken tinga tostadas were excellent and extremely flavorful. You cannot leave this place without getting a churro. It’s the best churro that I’ve had outside of Mexico. Could not recommend this place more!“

I was the only black person I'm there but they welcomed me with open arm's, even met two cool men who we're coming from out of state at the bar, paid for our drinks, also another brother did the same ??? I definitely want to go back!!!!“

“This is great, we've been going to their other restaurant in East Moriches for many many years. Now we have the option to go here when we shop in Riverhead. Excellent traditional Mexican cooking and menu. This location retained the liquor license from the former Golden Jalapeño So they have a bar and you can get a beer or mixed drinks with or without a meal! Outstanding!!! Can't wait to go back soon!“

“Just finished eating and I couldn't write a review fast enough. Everything we had was super flavorful and just delicious. Loved the carne asada tacos and the chicken tamales. Pupusas were also very good! Had the lorocco and cheese and the bean and cheese. Yum!“
