“Old Orchard Inn is a bit hard to find even for GPS. Be prepared to not find it on the first try if you have never been here before. The entrance road is hidden, barely paved and rough. Parking is free though. Be prepared to drive slowly when you do enter the driveway. There is a steep upward climb when you walk to the front door. If you are elderly, infirmed or handicapped, a boy with a golf cart will come get you and transport you to and from if you encounter difficulty or simply require mobility assistance. I only know this because I saw it with my own eyes. The wait was a bit long (about 30 minutes). Judy was the waitress; I see reviews with her name from 2012. She must be a lifer. Nothing wrong with that, just an observation. She is in command and can handle any customer no matter what happens. She is a good photographer if you need that service as well. Later she brought more menus and took our orders. Although she is not bashful about giving orders as well. I had the grilled lamb salad. A "hard to get" at most places for sure. It was a grilled half rack of New Zealand lamb. Crisp spring greens, goat cheese, roasted red pepper, red onion and lemon chive dressing. Highly recommend this! The sides are served family style to everyone at your table. We had summer squash and carrots, and herb roasted red potatoes. Judy will not do substitutes! The blood orange creme Brule is splendid for dessert. The restroom was a bit silly. The towel dispenser was hung from the ceiling, also just enough room to turn around in there. So, no need to be concerned about sharing it with anyone, you will have plenty of privacy. There is outdoor seating and a duck pond when the weather is nice. There is also a fireplace if the weather is cool. Certainly, memorable and will never be forgotten. In the event you are looking for something very unique with a flair for charm, the Old Orchard Inn may be just your ticket for elegance, relaxation and fun. Caveat Emptor.“

“Hands down amazing food. we stopped in after a long day of shopping and I am so glad we did. the service was great. the food was honest to God phenomenal. so good that we all shared bites to appreciate how yummy our food was. My dog was accepted at outdoor seating and I was even allowed to take her out in the field for some fetch after we ordered. Don't drive by... STOP in and grab a bite... you won't be disappointed!! The meat had a good flavor, but was full of fat & grizzle. Not at all lean & tender. Whether this is normal or a one-time occurrence, we don't know!“

I found the Iron Kettle on Google and saw their menu included steak & eggs, plus country potatoes. The steak was seasoned perfect, and people make you feel welcomed. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and well presented, and there are so many unique options on the menu that it’s hard to choose just one. The coffee is excellent, and the desserts are always worth getting. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming, even when the place is busy. The atmosphere is also great and makes it a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or just meeting up with friends. “We will come back because it was pretty good. There are areas for improvement but overall it was a good time. Everything was a bit plain seasoning wise, and had a ton of butter on all of it. I got the chicken fried chicken. It was actually much larger than I expected and was a good tasting meat. I got broccoli casserole that I couldn’t find any broccoli in. It was all breading. The beans and greens were both fine. My family also got onion petals that were great, and the hot honey chicken that was delicious. The cornbread and biscuits were both great. The potatoes were just ok The service was phenomenal. Pleasant, quick, knowledgeable and friendly. The only real complaint was that we were sat at the front and were told the table was cursed, laugh, and sit down. We found out why, the hostess ran into our chair every time she walked by. The guests used the backs of our seats and our shoulders even. It’s fine, but not what we had in mind. The cost was excellent. I signed up for rewards and got a free appetizer and a $1 off ornament coupon. I also got a veterans discount. The overall cost for 3 adults with take home, under $70. We shopped a little and those prices were a bit steeper, but it seemed that everything was discounted there as well. I got a scarf and 2 ornaments and paid $20. The service at the sales counter was excellent as well. Great job Cracker Barrel!!“

“My wife and I spent a week at the Asa Ransom House from Christmas Day through New Year’s Day. The location is perfect for us as our family lives very close, also you can walk to restaurants in the Clearance hollow and the town park. A short drive to Williamsville and Buffalo. The hospitality, cleanliness and spacious comfortably rooms (ours with fireplace) made this holiday week very special. The breakfast each morning was perfection on a plate that you won’t want to skip even one day, each day was something different and deliciously fresh. We plan to return soon!“

Perfect amount of wait time for the food, and I placed a large order to go to bring back to Rochester, came out in a timely fashion as well. So helpful, kind, and made sure everything was perfect for us. She always got back to me quickly when I had a question. She's very happy to help you and make things as easy and seamless as possible. The food was AMAZING, and our guests just raved about it, from first bite to days later! Upon finding out the groom, as well as other family members have to eat gluten free, Carrie made sure all of the meat and side dishes we chose were gluten free as well. We chose the roast beef, grilled herb chicken, herb potatoes, fried rice, and salad. The gluten free dishes were a huge blessing for us! Everyone that had anything to do with our dinner was also outstanding, helpful, and kind. We have another dinner planned here soon, and I cannot wait to show the other family this fabulous restaurant, and eat here again myself. Family from both sides are still talking about our rehearsal dinner and how wonderful it was! They are planning on going back on their own to eat. “Really like this place, it gives off dive bar vibes, but in a good way. Bartender is always so nice and even though we only come in once or twice a month she always remembers us. Drinks are good price, we usually play darts of pool and have a good time. They also have a pool table and that table top hokey game. I've never eaten here but i've heard it's good.“

“The staff was nice. The prices were good. The bathrooms are not clean. The fry old was bad. The fried shrimp and French fries are apparently all cooked together in oil that tasts like Ivory bar soap.

This is store is not a good representation of the chain. The Cicero location was much cleaner and better tasting fried items.“
