“China Rose is a gem in Marlboro! I just sampled two dissimilar dishes; Green beans with chicken, and a Thai delight, Pad Thai also with chicken- both were above average with generously sized pieces of tender and moist chicken. The sauce on both was flavorful and delicious. I finally got a chance to get in there despite the pouring rain and thunder! They are closed Sundays so get there any other day and be delighted with the quality and friendly service - they are very efficiently run and operated by a young local family team.“

“The food and the service is excellent but Ling treats one of her older counter girls so horribly. She's always interrupting her while she is taking customers and treats her like she is incompetent. I've witnessed one too many instances where Ling screams at her and it is clear that the girl gets visibly upset every time. I believe that she is Ling's middle daughter and I wish she would treat her better since she's always there helping out. I can't imagine the verbal abuse she has to endure everyday. I ended up getting sesame chicken, chicken with broccoli, and pan-fried dumplings and everything was packed and presented really well, with good portion sizes and decent prices. When I got there, I noticed the restaurant was spacious and clean, so I ended up sitting down and eating there instead. Everything hit the spot. I’ll definitely be going back.“

“My 89 year old mother absolutely loves the chicken noodle soup. She enjoys a mug full everyday and is never tired of it. I ask for a low sodium version and they make it happen. I'm hooked on shrimp with veggies they make for me. Also love the dumplings, egg rolls and many other dishes. It's my favorite place to get really good Chinese food.“

“Quintessential pick up Chinese food. I've been coming here for years and everything is great. Any noodle dish is good and your classics are great. Chicken and broccoli, chicken lo mein, crab rangoon etc.  The staff is incredibly friendly and always smiling. The food comes out quick and hot. If you spend over a certain amount they throw in a bag of something small on the house. Typically pork wontons or donuts.“

“You need to go to Main Moon if you want authentic Sichuan cuisine, and not American style Chinese food. You can go there for that too, the restaurant has a generous selection of food, but ask for the Sichuan side of the menu, and ask about it. The manager is proud of the food, the cuisine style, and has excellent recommendations. I personally starting out with the cucumber and garlic in spicy oil. It is delicious, spicy and refreshing to crunch into fresh cucumber. I also recommend getting tO dishes and sharing with someone, or even with two other people. The portions are copious. I finally leave my review after having gone there at least ten times.“

Either from people who just don't like newburgh, or people who most likely were rude first then got their attitude reflected back to them and didn't like it. “Feng was amazingly helpful. Less than 24 hours before a bridal shower, the restaurant we had contracted with reneged, leaving us high and dry.

I called Oriental Kitchen and Feng came to our rescue. In a few hours he and his chefs had created and executed a carry out caterering menu!

“Great food, never got sick ever. Staff takes orders n its quick! U wait maybe 15minutes max from showing up n ordering. U can call ahead though to order. Prices r good for the portion sizes! I got a pint of house lo mein, wonton soup, and na shrimp egg roll for $13! Can't beat that! Staff nice and U can eat inside! Parking is limited but still good n easy. It is wheel chair accessible. There is no restroom though for public. It's the best Chinese in Newburgh! Plz though bring back pints of hot n sour! They only sell now quarts ugh..many choices on the menu if U want no salt or vegetarian too! They have lunch specials for cheaper also.

Vegetarian options: There are many choices like egg foo Young n you can get steamed vegetables.

Dietary restrictions: U can get low sodium plates/dishes or no salt n there are more then just 2 or 3. They will work w you!

Parking: U can park right in front of the restaurant, there is always room or across the street in a huge parking lot all for free or park on the side street but I wouldn't in Newburgh!

Kid-friendliness: U can dine in but has no child boosters or high chairs. Just adult chairs w metal tables.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get out in parking lot. No lip straight into the restaurant. The door though is not push button but U can wheel in. Also the window is a bit high up but the second opening is wheelchair level so don't worry! Can wheel right up to a table inside.“
