“I've been wanting to check out this restaurant for a while now and I'm so glad I finally did. I started with the Brussels Sprouts and the Pickled Beets and both were amazing! For my entree I had the Mesquite Salmon with asparagus and potatoes and really enjoyed all of it. Lauren, the manager and bartender, was very welcoming and made a great spicy margarita. I look forward to going back!“

“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

“What a great experience. We are new to the area- we stopped in one night while looking to try a new place for dinner- The staff was so welcoming, the wine was top notch and the food amazing- A couple of weeks later, when deciding where to done for Valentine's and wanting a romantic atmosphere, we both decided that we wanted to revisit Molto Vino- We made a reservation for Valentine's Day and they were even more impressive than the first time!! Not only did they remember us, they noted that we were the first reservation booked for the holiday. The staff was so warm and again, the food and atmosphere were perfect for our special date night! we vowed to each other to make this a monthly stop (at a minimum!!) Bryan and Christina were beyond knowledgeable, making great cheese recommendations! Additionally, I am a vegetarian, and they were very accomodating with suggestions for non meat entrees! “We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

“Yes, there are gluten free items here that are marked on the menu HOWEVER I thankfully had a waitress that basically said that their is airborne flour everywhere and that cross contamination is almost guaranteed for anything baked in the oven with the pizza (for example their baked GF chicken Parm dish). I was so appreciative how clear she was, saying that the gluten free pasta is boiled separately though they still can't guarantee it is celiac-safe. I risked it and got a pasta dish and fortunately didn't get sick. I hope they can find a way to make truly Celiac safe gluten free foods because their GF pasta was phenomenal!“

“We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“
