“I had an AMAZING meal last night at Brasserie by Chef Aless!!! (Massapequa) The ambience was fantastic right from the start. Low lighting and music, a fireplace by the front door, very old school French bistro decor. We were seated in the enclosed patio, which was just as warm and inviting as the rest of the place. We ordered cocktails to start and they were great...nice pours. NOTE: No tap beers, but they have a decent bottle collection. Now, onto the food! We started with the camembert en croute, which was warm, ooey gooey and DECADENT. My husband ordered the roast duck with rice pilaf and haricot vert, and it was perfumey, smoky, and juicy as hell. I went with the lamb shank over mashed potatoes and let me tell you...it was TO. DIE. FOR. The lamb came right off the bone, it was so tender that I barely had to chew. The mashed potatoes were a perfect texture and the sauce was out of this world. Easily one of THE best meals I've had in years. NO room for dessert. The service was very attentive, noise levels were fine, and Chef Aless was out in the dining room checking on how people were enjoying their meals. She was SO warm and friendly, and is clearly passionate about her food. 10/10, highly recommend this establishment!“

“A very busy place on Saturday evening. Our reservation was honored and our table was waiting for us. They have an extensive menu with a large variety of large portion meals. We brought leftovers home. And we had no room for dessert after appetizers were shared before the main plates. The pork chop was large! A little light on vegetarian dishes. We recommend you give it a try.“
