“The lovely man working there got slammed. He was on his own and with so many people waiting it was so hard on him. I think it was abusive of the management to do that to him, there needs to be more staff! The was one person clearing tables and one person preparing food. He was on his own! I was there for a while and so I could see how hard he was working....“

“This place is a hidden gem! Every dish we ordered blew us away, the menu is small, but every item on it is curated perfectly. Standouts: the steak tartare was delicious, and the whole chicken was an absolute show-stopper, perfectly cooked, juicy, and elevated even further by the sauce. Dessert sealed the deal for us, the chocolate mousse and rice pudding were both incredible. I don’t even usually like rice pudding, but the texture and flavor were amazing. We’ll be back soon!“

“Me and my daughter, enjoyed this restaurant so much during our Mommy and Me weekend! The atmosphere was laid back and quite relaxing. The service was superb and the food was so good, we had to order food to bring home. I would give this establishment 6 stars if I could. “Nice family restaurant. My first visit & taste of S. African french cuisine. Not too many place can offer good food at a reasonable price. This place does. Service was good. I had the Escargot & Tunisian Sausage. Both good. I like french food, but don't have it often since it's very rich. My hubby enjoyed the broiled Lamb chop. We shared the chocolate mousse torte. It was perfect, not too sweet. The flavors of the meal was spot on. Not overly salted, sweetened nor was there msg like most restaurants these days. Overall, I would go back & recommend this little gem. Our friend, long time patrons of La Baracka, had the AYCE lunch, which they enjoyed.“

“My wife and I ate at Paris Cafe on TH, 09/25/26, after coming back from vacation. We were thoroughly impressed with the service, food, atmosphere and ambience. Paris Cafe is located in the TWA Hotel and thus has much old time swank and pizzazz inherently built into it. Our server, Chris, was excellent. He is a polite, respectful and thoughtful young man with a good sense of humor and a desire to be helpful to the customers. We had the Caesar salad, followed by my Rigatoni with meatballs and my wife’s Campanelle with grilled chicken and then butterscotch pudding for dessert. The food was fresh, plentiful, innovative and quite tasty. The restaurant was vibrant and energetic and the bar had plenty of cocktail options to choose from. All the employees that we dealt with were pleasant and personable and really aimed to please. All in all it was a wonderful experience.“

The sweets are hit or miss. Either the most delectable thing you’ve ever had or flavorless and mid. The sweets can be catfish sometimes cause they all look beautiful.

Coffee is tasty. Matcha is no bueno.“

“I work in the Falchi Building at 31-00 47th Avenue in Long Island City, and I visit Petite Maman two or three times a week. It has quickly become one of my favorite places to stop for a coffee, pastry, or something delicious to bring back to the office.

The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, but what really sets Petite Maman apart is the outstanding customer service. In particular, William, who works behind the counter, is exceptional. He is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. William has a great way of making customers feel comfortable, and he is always happy to make suggestions when I'm trying to decide what to order.

The best part is that his recommendations are consistently spot-on. I've tried several things based on his suggestions, and I've never been disappointed. His enthusiasm for the food and his willingness to take the time to help customers really make a difference.

I can't say enough good things about William or Petite Maman. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful, and the people who work there clearly care about their customers and the experience they provide. If you work in the Falchi Building or are in the Long Island City area, I highly recommend stopping by Petite Maman. And if William is behind the counter, be sure to ask him what he recommends—you won't be disappointed!“

The place is clean and smells good. The servers speak both Spanish and English very well, which is great as you cater to the majority of the customers.
The setup is nice as you have a sitting bar for a quick grab (eat and go area).

The food layout is good. No flies, no bugs seen.. I love it...
