“Great little find! Stayed at the Hotel Broadalbin and was a quick walk from there for breakfast. Service was great and staff was super friendly. We ordered to-go and enjoyed the wait time (which wasn't long at all considering how busy they were) people watching sipping on coffee. Outdoor seating looked great, right on a little creek. Food was tasty, breakfast bagel sandwich and the French toast and very reasonably priced.“

“An unexpected gem in the Great Sacandaga Lake area. I'd driven by a few times while visiting in the GSL area and finally got the time to stop by. Food was tasty and done to order. My wife and I had the opportunity to both dine in and take out from Klippel's recently, and both did not fail to please. Portions were generous and reasonably priced. There did seem to be a nice selection on the menu - so finding something that "hits the spot" shouldn't be hard to find. It does appear that there is a nicely stocked deli should you prefer that to "off the grill or oven". Dine-in ambiance I'd definitely characterize as "Adirondack rustic". Clean, but not fancy. I did appreciate the old-time tchotchkes that adorn the walls. (Which do tend to bring back memories of my childhood). The staff was friendly and courteous. Many local residents frequent here, but as a "tourist" I too was treated with a smile and friendly chatter.“

“Made a reservation for 11:30 AM on a Sunday morning, we got there 20 minutes late and they still allowed us to sit in our table with no problem with nothing but smiles! The hostess and the waitress were really sweet, asked if if it was the first time visiting, and informed us of how the food was going to be buffet styled.The ambiance was cozy with Easter decor, a piano in the middle of the dining room, taxidermy and their syrup being sold in the entrance!I got these two leather earrings made in Townsend! They were $6 each and so cute. I got a red and brown one!The pancakes were extremely delicious; golden brown, their maple syrup was unique, and their bacon was crispy and not too greasy. It was the perfect spot for breakfast!“

“Coming here has become a tradition now for me and my daughter. First just walking in there, the atmosphere is welcoming from the decor to the staff. The service here is amazing. They are so friendly. Yes it takes a little time to get your food, but that's because it is made to order. Which I will wait because it's so worth it. “Busy place on a Sunday morning. Always cheerful service and good service. Great selection for a menu and they are very accommodating if you want to change something up on the menu. Prices are reasonable and seating plentiful. Atmosphere is great because it's like you know a lot of people in there and everyone is always friendly and saying hello.Dietary restrictions: Just ask them.
