“Not usually one to review but I found it extremely helpful when I was searching for a hotel. Coming from the US, I expect a certain standard and this checked all the boxes. Safety; security was on point no loitering, etc and key card gave you access to only your floor. I got a standard room with a balcony and wonderful view. I picky about bathrooms. It was on point. Hot water, water pressure, decor. Price point way better value than the higher priced options. I'm not much of a breakfast person but there were more than enough options (I'm not vegetarian).“

“SO happy we chose VRock for our little function. I really love the renovations they have made! It is beautiful in there. Perfect for fun or sexy get togethers. And the staff; SO NICE. We had two bartenders and they were very attentive, pleasant, and quite funny. I have not had a chance to try the food yet, but I definitely plan to visit again soon.“

“We just had lunch a group of 18 at Salts Restaurant this afternoon and everything was perfect. The atmosphere and service were outstanding even as they also cared for another large party. Due to the snow and the snow plow blocking the ramp a few of us needed help navigating the back entrance stairs. Both Katie and Armando were great helps. They were both very strong and familiar with assisting people. I knew I was in capable hands. And everyone loved their food. The food was plentiful with lots of delicious options. I had the Reuben that was so good. Thanks to the entire staff for a job “well done”!!“

“The food was the closest thing to my dear old Italian grandmother's. I commented to our server how the food tasted so authentic and learned the owner/chef is from the same small town in Italy as my grandmother. You could taste it in the food! The service was as good as the food. We left there feeling like we were just at a family dinner. It was our first time here and it's a 1.5 hour drive, but we will be back often. Highly recommend!“

“This is by far the best plate in Rochester!! The garbage plate wrap is AMAZING! They also have a sauce called panther sauce that elevates the plate! The only suggestion I have is they need to figure out the phone situation. I feel like they unplug the phones on purpose so they don’t have to take more orders. This makes it hard when wanting to order ahead, we have to drive there and hope for the best when it comes to a wait time. Other then that I HIGHLY recommend!“

“The atmosphere was was great. Our waitress Bella( at the Rochester one) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly sling with our hostess and other table help. Was a great experience. The only thing I was disappointed in ( which wasn’t any of these peoples doing) was my porterhouse steak. For the money, it should have been a nice cut. It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.“

I ordered the scallop dinner and my broccoli was perfect, not over cooked as often is the case. My husband ordered the snow crab legs and stated they were the best he'd had in a very long time. “Reunion of a few hockey players from the 1970's for lunch today . Our waitress was Molly and she was (Johnny on the Spot) from ordering to getting refills on our drinks . We were very pleased with the Tenders , French Onion soup and the Burgers ! Even the popcorn was great . The $11.99 lunch menu was perfect . Molly was one step ahead of us whatever we needed and it cost us about HALF of what we paid at Distillery on our previous lunch .

“We had 2 events in the month of February. Meg was my point of contact for both. She has the best communication skills I have ever come across at a restaurant! She was super easy to get ahold of and always answered my questions promptly and efficiently. She was very accommodating with our themed events and made sure the room was set up to meet our needs. The room was organized well and we had ample space for both events that had over 20 people at each one. The food came out quickly and the portions were good and the food was tasty. I enjoyed both my meals and the great service that was provided. When they were made aware of any questions or concerns, they were dealt with quickly, we just had to let them know. There was a discrepancy with the gratuity accidentally being charged 20% for one of the events, but as soon as they were made aware of the situation it was taken care of. They went above and beyond and they will be at the top of my list for my next event!“

“We use this hotel each year on our trip to Ohio from Maine. Easy to find from I 90. We were welcomed by Diamond at reception in a professional and friendly manner which was nice after a long drive. The rooms are clean and tidy, quiet nights rest , breakfast is always good and we were on our way again.Will. be using this hotel again ! Again a big Thank You to Diamond, definitely an asset to the hotel.“

When we returned we were greeted by the manager who offered his apologies for the mishap and offered to give us a free meal for our inconvenience. In summation: A problem resolved! Wait time when I first walked in until the time I was seated was approximately five minutes once I was seated the waitress appeared within 3 to 4 minutes to take my order. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. The Reuben sandwich was really well made very flavorful for my side. I chose the macaroni salad which had no flavor whatsoever. It was very bland.“
