I haven’t tried my cookies yet but just from the wonderful experience I was given by the young lady and her product knowledge, her personality and seeing the baker in action I will definitely be coming back for another try. “One of the best bars in Nassau. Great friendly staff, they make you feel like one of the crew quickly. Great drinks with a wide selection of Beam. As far as the food goes, there is not better place to get wings in the county. Wide range of heat and flavors, always made to perfection. Then of course there is the pizza that will beat most pizzerias round. They almost have a restaurant menu in a bar. There is not better place to watch any sports from horse racing to football and everything in between. The place has a lot of modern TVs so getting the game you want is pretty easy (just ask). Yes they do have WiFi as well. Highly recommend this bar.”

We were greeted by Will, who rocks, offering happy hour specials and cocktails in a pint glass. Burgers were great, and the nachos were superior. Definitely will be back!”

“I just had my daughter’s baptism at Fabio’s. From the food to the service everything was amazing! My guests were raving about the food. We did family style and it was more than enough food. We even had leftovers to take home! Fabio went above and beyond helping us set up the decorations the night before my party. We never felt rushed (we were there til 1am). He wants his guests to have a great experience and we did! Thanks to Fabio, Rose, Marty and the entire staff for a great party!”

“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.”

“Guys, I have to share my experience at Let's Roll because it was wonderful. I don't really like ice cream (i know, that's crazy right?), but my husband and my kids always go to this place so I decided to try it. It's a super friendly place that's owned by a wonderful couple (Craig & Giselle, I think? I don't really know if that's how she spells it), but I never wanted to try the ice cream. Except today. I tried the passion fruit flavor - and my God, there's nothing like it! You really have to taste it - it's so yummy. And besides, the place is super family-friendly, with super nice people, such positive energy. I will be back soon. 5 stars for Let's Roll in Merrick!”

“Whenever I'm in Merrick, which is usually two or three times a month, I always stop at Bagelman of Merrick. They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. I've come to know the owner, Boris, and his staff, and they are always most helpful. Looking forward to my next trip to Merrick.”

“My daughter’s baby shower was held at Mio Posto last night and was simply amazing. The staff waited for us and helped bring in all the props along with anything else we needed. They continued with great service through the meals and at the bar. Sal was super attentive to making sure all was going smooth and Mike and frank did the same.

“Kareem is a SAINT!! He greeted me my first time, and he has the warmest welcoming personality. Their pastries are the absolute best, and they make a bad morning better. Their cheese danish is extremely custardy, and has a soft background of vanilla. It's flakey, and falls apart when you bite it. I love their atmosphere, their employees—this location is amazing, and I've made myself a weekly regular solely from his hospitality.”

“Greek Cove Merrick’s lunch special is incredible. Ate the warm pita in the car on the way home! Grilled chicken with a salad and rice. One huge chicken cutlet over a generous portion of delicious rice and a tasty Greek salad- with a grape leaf and feta! I am a very picky eater but this chix was seasoned beautifully, so that if garlic, onion or rosemary(my triple threat) was used, it all blended together perfectly so that even I could not pick out the offensive spice. Amazingly, the yogurt sauce is also tasty( I hate yogurt sauce;usually throw it away). Forgot to tell them not to give it to me, so as not to waste it, but I’m glad I forgot! All of this, and a lot of smiling happy employees, for $12.99 cash. Wowza.”

“Jared, this Ralph’s is extremely amazing. The workers here are very kind and care about their customers. For example, worker is known as Christian, Ariana, Darian, and Liam are very nice people. On the other hand, we have Jared, Jared is I don’t really know how to explain him but that’s all I’m gonna say. But if you were ever to come here, I would recommend you ask for Darien, darien is beautiful, pretty and kind. Liam is also an outstanding football and lacrosse player . His cheddar is very amazing.”

“This place used to be my favorite açaí joint. My family and I would always go here. But recently (not sure why) they got rid of their kosher certification. It’s really a bummer. We were constant customers and losing a place like this was a bit annoying. We have the kosher playa bowls also in merrick but it’s just not as good. I love sobol don’t get me wrong but if they could just bring back the kosher certification it would be really appreciated.”

“I am a night worker, and I was craving for a BEC bagel when I woke up. As we all know, the bagel places around Bellmore and Merrick close around 2-3pm, and when I saw Bagel Chalet were still opened, I decided to come here! Glad I did too! The service was great, and the BEC on a cinnamon raisin bagel was delicious! Coffee was still pretty good too. I’ll definitely be back if I ever have a craving for a late breakfast on my nights off!”

“I would not recommend La Bottega Merrick. I am very disappointed in the customer service. I placed a panini box order for a small party. I then went into the Merrick store to personally go over the order. I requested two paninis to be wrapped separately. One was a gluten free panini and the other was an Erika panini for my grandson. My husband picked the order up but when we opened the order, the Erika panini was not there. We called immediately and they said someone would bring it right away. There was no apology and we waited over an hour for it to be delivered. Mistakes do happen but how a business handles their mistake is very telling about how much their customers matter. The message was clear that customer service is not a priority. Additionally, the grilled chicken in the paninis was very tough and chewy. We order often from the East Meadow restaurant but they are closed on Sundays so we decided to order from the Merrick location. We have never had a problem at the East Meadow location but will not order from La Bottega Merrick again.”

Can’t wait to try others like chorizo and potato, Pernil and Cuban! Great option to add to our food choice rotation. Bonus, the staff is super sweet!!”
