“I just had my daughter’s baptism at Fabio’s. From the food to the service everything was amazing! My guests were raving about the food. We did family style and it was more than enough food. We even had leftovers to take home! Fabio went above and beyond helping us set up the decorations the night before my party. We never felt rushed (we were there til 1am). He wants his guests to have a great experience and we did! Thanks to Fabio, Rose, Marty and the entire staff for a great party!“

“I had my daughters bridal shower with 80 guests on Saturday night in the private room. Sal & Michael were amazing to work with. They were very attentive and everything went so smooth. I cant say enough about them. I am still getting calls from my guests commenting on how amazing the food and drinks were and some even noticed how Sal was making sure everyone was content. I had a few guestswho were gluten free and they were accommodated. The room itself was perfect along with having the two restrooms in the room. At the end of the night the food was packaged up to bring home. I personally can say everything about this night was absolutely perfect..not one complaint. Keep up the good work Sal & Michael. You guys are absolutely amazing and thank you for making it great for my daughter.“

“So here is a local restaurant that serves great Sicilian food. The food is fresh comes out hot and tastes Incredible. The specialty cocktails are very nice as well. Well placed wine selection. I’ve been in several times and will absolutely go back.“

“I would not recommend La Bottega Merrick. I am very disappointed in the customer service. I placed a panini box order for a small party. I then went into the Merrick store to personally go over the order. I requested two paninis to be wrapped separately. One was a gluten free panini and the other was an Erika panini for my grandson. My husband picked the order up but when we opened the order, the Erika panini was not there. We called immediately and they said someone would bring it right away. There was no apology and we waited over an hour for it to be delivered. Mistakes do happen but how a business handles their mistake is very telling about how much their customers matter. The message was clear that customer service is not a priority. Additionally, the grilled chicken in the paninis was very tough and chewy. We order often from the East Meadow restaurant but they are closed on Sundays so we decided to order from the Merrick location. We have never had a problem at the East Meadow location but will not order from La Bottega Merrick again.“

“I hate to give it such a good review because I want to keep it as a local little secret, but I know that's not fair. Best pizza in NY and I've been to all the famous great places in NY.
Other family members love the pasta and the meatballs (I never tried them) lastly, the Brussel sprouts are to die for.

Edit: I tried the meatball appetizer and the pasta with meatballs the other night. I'm not a meatball person in general and the only meatballs I will ever eat are my mom's, but now I have to add these to my list. They are delicious!! They are small and very tasty. Pasta was also very good. My favorite restaurant by far“
