“Food is good. Service was a little slow due to there being only one server/bartender doing double duty. Went for a quick afternoon lunch. Sat outside which was nice. They have ample outdoor seating. Cocktails were not strong. So ended up sticking to wine for the balance of my drink orders.“

“Just look at the pictures. If you like pizza that's hot, delicious, crispy and yet the cheese stretches 2 feet.... The guys who own it and run it have been here for 40 years. Authentic Italian recipes and a nice atmosphere.

“I had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Zona last night. I was originally booked to have the party on Saturday, but the bride came down with the flu. Gianna was so helpful and accommodating. She was able to change the date for me without hesitation. The day of the affair, the staff was so helpful in getting the room set up for us. Our waitress, Jodi, was absolutely incredible. She made sure that our guests had a fresh drink before they even realized their drink was empty. The food was delicious and plentiful. But most of all, the service that Jodi provided to us was outstanding. I would book another event at Zona without hesitation.“

Our waitress at the bar was so lovely, taught us about the restaurant name meaning “fireplace cave” in Italian, and showed us through the menu and even helped us order an off-menu favorite the cacio e pepe, which was very tasty and the perfect amount of al dente. “We had a last minute reservation for 8 people, and we were lucky enough to snag a table. YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE! Our entire table loved the food. From the appetizers (the warm bread, the amazing carmalized onion spread, & the Calamari), to the main courses (the NY strip steak, the shrimp, and the ravioli), to the dessert (trust me... get the bread pudding!) everything was impeccable. “Words really cannot express what a perfect setting La Parma III Italian Restaurant was for our family.
I was trying to plan a luncheon to take place after a funeral remotely from San Diego, CA, and had nothing to go on other than a recommendation from the funeral home
I called and spoke to Guido on a Friday and the lunch was being planned for the upcoming Tuesday 8-27th a few days later.
Being in the catering business myself and immediately hearing "no problem" we can do it all, was simply music to my ears. Guido said he would not be in on that Sunday when I wanted to come check it out in person but gladly provided me with the Managers name that would be available that day to meet. When I arrived at the restaurant, I met Richie, and he could not have been more helpful in confirming everything that I had expected to happen.
Not only did they have us set up in a beautiful room with everything ready to go but both Guido and Richie were there during the lunch and worked the entire event in coordination with their amazing team. From the initial contact over the phone, all the way to the completion of the lunch we could not be happier with how professional and accommodating the people at La Parma III were, especially considering we had just lost our loved one. We would call them again for this or any other meal we needed to be catered. In summary, the food and service were five stars, A+, or whatever is the best grade possible!“
