“Atlantic Pizzeria on Atlantic Ave in Freeport NY- It was my first time visiting this restaurant today and though I don’t normally write reviews, I felt compelled to state what a wonderful establishment! My daughter, who is very shy, spilled a drink in there and the workers replaced it immediately at no charge and cleaned it up right away! As a parent, this meant the world to me because I did not want her to feel uncomfortable.. thank you and we will be back! Please support!“

“My wife and I are from Bay Ridge Brooklyn, with plenty of great Italian restaurants too choose from. We happened to be in LI, had not eaten and stopped to eat before the getting stuck on the Belt Pkwy home.
We are so glad that we did. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic and welcoming. We had the baked clams and seared tuna, delicious! The beet salad with the quinoa, freshing! The salmon cooked perfectly! The squid ink pasta with seafood (I didn't share) was that good.

“They renovated recently and I wonder if the place changed hands. The ambience and food have lost some old world Italian charm and depth. Everything was very good but we went there previously because it was phenomenal. It was just good this time. It's all relative I suppose.“

“I enjoyed this restaurant and experience and would 100% go back. The polenta fries were yummy but very salty and the arugula salad was also really good (maybe toast the pine nuts for future?). The eggplant parm was okay and my friend said it may have been lacking something. I had the clam pizza and it was very good! I love clam pizza and this is up there on the list. My friend ordered the $50ish steak and while it was good, there was too much inedible fat on it (hence the 3 rating on food). The potatoes and onions that came with it were apparently delicious!“

“My wife and I celebrated our 43rd anniversary this week. We went to la Parma- I had been there before and my wife has not but was always looking to go. Well we went tonight to celebrate and we weren’t disappointed. The food was great and plentiful, the service was very attentive and the experience was great. “Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“One of the best Italian restaurants in Lynbrook or anywhere else. They use the freshest and highest quality ingredients and prepare the food exquisitely. I ordered takeout tonight for six people in my extended family and served it family style, and everyone was raving about the food. We ordered Scallops Oreganato, Shrimp Stuffed with Crabmeat, Chicken Francese, Zuppe di Clams White Sauces and a few appetizers and it was all superbly prepared. Several of us were from other towns and repeatedly asked me how to find this place so they could visit in the near future.“

“It is a small white-cloth old school italian restaurant located in what is essentially a strip mall. Atmosphere is cosy. It was half-full when I was there, and the noise levels were fine. Food is standard Italian fare that you would expect to find. They give you free bread with olive oil, along with parmesan cheese, olives, salami, and peppers. I had the veal parmigiana which was great. Crab-stuffed mushroom is a great appetizer as well, probably my favorite dish I had there. Waiters are excellent, friendly and professional, have all been working there for many years.“

“Our first time here, based upon reviews and vicinity to our home. While the food was tasty, hot and nice portions, the service was terrific the overall atmosphere was lacking. It was excessively loud, small and cramped dining area. The seating should have been about 25 not the sqeezed in seating of 36, when we sat to ate.
I recommend reservations, like we had, to sit for dinner, even on a Sunday.
My wife had the pear & walnut salad, the fusilli pasta & sausage and Italian (made in-house) cheesecake. All were great. I had the watermelon & feta salad, salmon piccata with veggies and pistachio Gelato.

It is average market priced.
Clean environment, and bathroom, but the kitchen door to the dinning room should have remained closed.
We will try it again in the near future.“

“I had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Zona last night. I was originally booked to have the party on Saturday, but the bride came down with the flu. Gianna was so helpful and accommodating. She was able to change the date for me without hesitation. The day of the affair, the staff was so helpful in getting the room set up for us. Our waitress, Jodi, was absolutely incredible. She made sure that our guests had a fresh drink before they even realized their drink was empty. The food was delicious and plentiful. But most of all, the service that Jodi provided to us was outstanding. I would book another event at Zona without hesitation.“

“Steak night was fabulous. The fillet mignon was like butter and cooked to perfection. We loved the creamed spinach and the steak fries. And the special dessert. the chocolate mousse was superb. Looking forward to the next steak night in August. The owner Michael is warm and friendly. The entire staff is accommodating -particular shout out to Eric, who was a wonderful server for us, but everyone there is fabulous if you haven't tried Lennox and Park, please do.
