“This place has really good food!! I'm really picky too, it was so friggin good. They had a deal going where you choose your foods and they make you a platter/dish of food that I could not finish in one sitting, neither could my unc lol it was a lot of good food..did I mention it was only $7 a plate?! Usually $10, which is still totally worth it. I also tried their fries, OMG they're like Checkers Rallys fries but thicker!! So delicious and fresh!! All the food was fresh and the restaurant was immaculate. I will be going back here to eat. Hey, if you live near there...you're foolish to not eat there. I gave them 5⭐“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “Food is fresh and delicious! Prices are fair The only suggestion I can make is that the Mount Sinai location’s dining area is loud. Carpet or curtains might help lessen this issue Even so, the food and service is excellent and I highly recommend it!“

“Went there for the first time. We made reservations and were promptly seated by friendly and polite staff. In spite of being quite crowded and busy, i was surprised it was noticeably quieter than other places we frequent. An enjoyable experience with a wide range of food and prices for every budget. Definitely will add to our “ go to” list. Highly recommend reservations as it is quite popular.“

Our 11 month old was with us this weekend and our server was awesome with him as well. “When ordering takeout, it’s hit or miss with the burger temperature. We order medium rare every time and sometimes it’s perfect, sometimes overcooked and sometimes undercooked. Seems like they need a better system for cooking to be more consistent.“

I work in the aerospace industry and as such, frequently travel the country and have ate at Applebee's on both coasts. What made the stop here memorable was the excellent service and genuine amiable nature of the server, Larisa. She was quick and responsive for all requests and a wealth of information regarding the locale and multiple other subjects. She represents what would be considered the epitome of service for that industry.“

“Had a really great experience at the Applebee’s in Shirley. Joe the manager is awesome always smiling :) super friendly, always checking in, and really makes sure everything runs smoothly. Monica behind the bar was amazing too, super personable, quick with drinks, and just had such a good attitude the whole time. They both made the atmosphere so much better and you can tell they actually care about their customers. This is definitely one of those places you come back to because of the people. “Just overall the value to what you're getting for the price and quality doesnt really beat a lot of small biusness I've been to. Staff is very nice but it's not the same. Definitely excellent for fast food though but there are plenty of small family owned burger joints that are a better experience ive been to recently that makes me set a high standard for a biusness after trying.

I'll give it 5 stars as far as fast food goes but compared to some of the small burger shops I've been to including a bar that I got a half pound burger with fries for $13 it's not gonna match that“

“There were a few of us for a birthday, I told them we had a Birthday visitor and no one came over, and two of us ordered nearly the same meal and they moved up how we wanted our steak cooked. One was medium well and the other was well done which is a big difference in texture and taste.

The waitress wasn't very attentive, we had to keep looking around for her and ask other staff to find her.“
