I am gluten free and because she makes it all fresh from scratch a is a seasoned chef, I was able to have a great meal! It is THE only place to come for breakfast any day of the week! Their standout dish remains Shepherd’s Pie — it’s simple and hearty. While I chose to nurse a Jameson’s whiskey the night of a recent visit, the intriguing beer menu here always tempts me. The staff are duly welcoming but maybe a bit overworked when it gets too crowded. It’s never a dull night when one stops by Fitzgibbons though, unless it’s a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday when the place is closed.“

“We enjoyed the 11:30 Christmas Brunch Sunday at the Alabama Hotel with our family and it was absolutely delicious! Such a selection of food and it was all very warm and not one thing dried out. The fruit was so fresh! The grandchildren enjoyed the many different choices as much as the adults did! And all the servers are awesome and were very attentive! Great job to all at Alabama Hotel! “Sicilian style pizza is worth the price. Cup and char, sweet sauce with garlic crust. Seasoned well so if you’re not a garlic fan go with regular crust. Eggplant parm sub is great, like the steak and cheese. The Royal will be the next one I try. Always have my order ready on time. Thanks Tim“

“Our 1st visit. Pros; great server who worked for every penny she made tonight. She ran the bar and the waited the tables. Cozy atmosphere, minus the bar noise. Food was good. Ordered a beef taco, sampler and a slice. We waited a bit longer than it should have taken for such a simple order but we were not in a hurry. Cons; Had we been in a time crunch.. I would have been very disappointed. The pizza sauce was way too sweet on the slice, and the slice was coldish and tasted old, the cheese was hard. Also the side sauces for the sampler platter are served in plastic cups and they are all cold. My son loves to dip his pizza logs and Mozzarella sticks in warm sauce.. I’m looking forward to returning to try something new. We live about 15 min away so it’s close enough. Side note: we met a man named Matt here tonight and he took our bill and paid it. Chatted with my son and I for a few minutes and was a genuinely nice guy! We tried to return the favor, but we will just pay it forward ❤️ Kindness is Contagious.. pass it on! Matt made our night.“

“Pizza and wings were exceptionally good tasting. If the pizza was just a little thicker it would be my favorite bc the sauce was just right, not too sweet yet not heavily seasoned. I'm really looking forward to going back again and hoping I can ask for a thicker crust“
