“Miguel's is awesome! Excellent food. Everything here is great. Very cheaply priced and affordable. They even have an in-house home made cinnamon horchata drink. If you've never had it, then you're missing out big time. But if you get addicted to it don't blame me. The best Spanish food around.

Parking: Free parking lot. Shares a lot with the other few little stores in the store front over there. Easy to find parking.“

It smelled so good I called up and placed an order of Birria Tacos for pickup. Stopped on my way back home and grabbed it. The scent that punched me in the face was now in my car over powering the food I had just picked up. I was shocked to see they didn't give the dipping sauce typically served with them. My wife and I then took our first bite and immediately understood why it wasn't served with it. The tacos were so good they didn't need it. “Went here yesterday for their Cinco de Mayo celebration, and I’m glad we did! Starting at 6p they had a Mexican mariachi band, and it was such good entertainment.The restaurant was packed as you would expect on this day, but the service was phenomenal. It didn’t matter whose table we were assigned to, everyone helped in all different stages of our meal.We started off with a coconut margarita and a peach margarita. They were good and you could taste the alcohol that put in there.The second and third coconut margarita came with real coconut in the drink, and that definitely was a seller for us.They start off with fresh made tortilla chips and homemade salsa. The salsa was fresh and great flavor, however if you can handle even a tiny bit of spice, I wouldn’t have it. It got hotter the more you ate it.We ordered their ‘alitas con chipotle’ which is their chicken wings, and oh goodness they were great. Only thing I have to say is they are double fried and on the smaller side, but their chipotle sauce was the best sauce I’ve ever tasted in my life. It is on the hotter side, but to me personally it was not too bad, the the flavor was bursting in my mouth. We actually ordered another side of the sauce for the wings because it was practically drinkable as is, and then another side for our entrees.We ordered ‘camarones caribeños’ which is their coconut shrimp with fries and salad. The coconut shrimp had appeared to be burnt when it was set on the table, however they weren’t and it was delicious. We dipped the coconut shrimp into the chipotle sauce… and that is what this place should offer with this dish. The sweet and savory together really burst in your mouth. The fries were typical fries, soft and could’ve been fried a tad more.We also ordered their ‘fajitas en Sartén’ with chicken. It came out sizzling with green peppers, onions, and tomatoes with a plate of guacamole, refried beans, rice and sour cream. We poured the chipotle sauce on the fajitas, and once again, we were baffled with the taste fusion.We loved this sauce so much that I told our waitress that I would buy the sauce if they were willing to sell it to me. I asked her to give me however much she could, and she gave me 4oz.We additionally ordered the ‘flan de tres leches’ and it tasted like a flan, and less like tres leches.Overall, would come back here in a heart beat.“

“I stumbled upon this place and I'm glad I did it's not the nicest part of coram but don't let that scare you off the food was made fresh the cook was fantastic and helped me choose because I told him I'm Irish and not familiar with Spanish food only taco bell fast food. He made me delicious mouth watering FRESH chicken tacos. I'm looking forward to the next meal he makes me. Give them a try I'm so glad I did and with taco bell opening in coram it would be a shame if you didn't try this place and only ate taco bell you would be missing out on something ?“

“We wanted tacos. We ordered traditional tacos...2 ground beef, 2 chicken, and an order of street corn. WOW!!! This is the best street corn we've every tasted. And the tacos... absolutely the best we've ever tasted at any restaurant. We will go back again. And the price was $ 26. We don't eat much, so that got us through 2 dinners. “I have enjoyed Viva Juan for about 20 years and it’s awesome to see the same familiar faces and enjoy tasty food! Lately, my husband and I love going for a nice lunch around 1pm on a weekday and we sit at the bar and take our time. I usually order everything to share and this time we even had leftovers! The place itself is so welcoming and fun! Restroom is clean and spacious. I would recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy a meal and possibly do some karaoke! ☺️“

“Even though our son is a professional chef and we think of ourselves as "foodies," we have only limited experience with Caribbean cuisine. That's going to change, because we will absolutely go back to Taino's to explore more of the menu. We went around 6-ish on a Monday night to celebrate my birthday, and the only other patrons were at the bar. They appeared to be regulars, and the vibe was warm and casual. Coconut shrimp is one of my guilty pleasures and I order it every time I see it on a menu. Tainos' was quite possibly the best I've ever had: enormous shrimp coated in batter and flaked coconut, fried to crispy perfection and served with a to-die-for coconut dipping sauce. I'm also a skirt steak junkie, so ordered the Churrasco al la Parrilla which is served with a large serving of rice, bowl of red beans and chimichurri sauce, all presented beautifully, complete with an orchid. I was so full from the shrimp, I took nearly all of my entree home. Our lovely waitress (also the bartender) packed up my leftovers so they were just as attractive and appetizing the next day. Everything, including the steak, reheated perfectly. Granted, at my age I have a small appetite, but I'll be finishing the second (!) half of my steak, rice and beans tonight (night #3). Our son ordered the chicken Canasta de Platano (plantain 'baskets') appetizer and grudgingly gave me only a tiny (delicious) taste. Husband ordered fried cheese, and ate a whole piece even before I could take a photo. Again, I was allowed only one bite, but know I'll order my own the next time we're there. He also ordered the skirt steak, but our son tried the Colombian platter (steak, avocado, pork cracklings, fried egg, rice and more), which he loved. He gave me the sweet corn cakes which I devoured. Can't wait to try "mofungo," which seems to be a signature dish. The oxtails look fabulous, too.“
