“The BEST Gyro I’ve ever had. Fast service. Tzatziki was delicious and they didn’t skimp on the amount they put on the Gyro. Then the manager brought out a Greek yogurt with cherries desert that was amazing!! Highly recommend this restaurant. I wish I didn’t live 1,000 miles away.“

“I ordered from this place cause I didn’t feel like going all the way out to Nazar in little neck. The kebabs were great. I had the chicken, next time I’m going to try the Doner kebab. All the entrées came with soup and salad, and these were really nice salads, not just like little samplers. This place is definitely on my list.“

The fish filet, forget it, delicious! ? my mom also liked her chicken gyro. Everything tasted delicious and pricing was really good. “We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“Greek Cove Merrick’s lunch special is incredible. Ate the warm pita in the car on the way home! Grilled chicken with a salad and rice. One huge chicken cutlet over a generous portion of delicious rice and a tasty Greek salad- with a grape leaf and feta! I am a very picky eater but this chix was seasoned beautifully, so that if garlic, onion or rosemary(my triple threat) was used, it all blended together perfectly so that even I could not pick out the offensive spice. Amazingly, the yogurt sauce is also tasty( I hate yogurt sauce;usually throw it away). Forgot to tell them not to give it to me, so as not to waste it, but I’m glad I forgot! All of this, and a lot of smiling happy employees, for $12.99 cash. Wowza.“

“Last night I took my 95 yo dad with my family here, our Go-To Greek restaurant and as always we had another wonderful meal. The grilled octopus, coconut shrimp and the haloumi cheese were all delicious. I had the chicken santorini for the first time and it was amazing as it melted in my mouth. The food is always spot on and most of all we are treated like family. I would recommend "It's Greek to Me" without hesitation.“

“Had an incredibly large portioned, fresh, Greek salad with gyro meat on top for lunch last week. This place went out of there way to put meat in separate container so it didn't wilt the lettuce. Fries were crunchy, generous portions of dressing and tzatziki and a warm fresh pita rolled in foil to stay fresh.“

“The food was excellent! Had the Fried Calamari (but you can order grilled), and the Mediterranean Octopus salad. Both were good but we all really loved the octopus! We had the Mixed Grill which consists of lamb chop, pork chop, skirt steak and chicken. menu says "serves 2" but it easily fed 4, and I don't think I'll finish what I took home in one sitting! Also had the Mixed Grill Vegetable which goes well obviously with the protein dish. Had a Greek beer and a glass of Greek red wine. “I ordered the Fava, Dolmas,and a Greek salad minus feta with falafel and my boyfriend ordered the Beet Salad with grilled chicken and the spanakopita. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious and tasted super fresh. Both the quantity and quality were on point. The waitress was very kind and even checked if a few items were vegan. The restaurant AND the bathrooms were very clean, (and I love the cherry almond scented soap). “About an hour ago I ordered food from B Greek kitchen in Lynbrook. You could go read my review on their page for how horrible that experience was. That being said I ended up canceling it and ordering from this place whose name I can’t even pronounce. Let me tell you something the food was ready in 10 minutes more delicious than I ever could’ve imagined and service was super friendly. I will 100% be back. Especially considering the time the other place was taking to make my food was longer than the drive to this one and back.“
