“Ok, so since i last visited, the price went up 4x. Parking was almost full, and people were still coming in. It was my first time launching my own boat, on a very busy day.On the launch, my friend was guiding me, but when the time came to pull the boat out, i struggled a little. The owner came out and helped me by guiding my steering. No one got upset, and we managed to be quick about it without unnecessary stress.I can recommend that if you are there on a busy weekend, use the marina, pay the fee, and remove stress from your life.“

“I cannot speak to the food but I can speak to the character. It is Memorial Day 2024. Mom driving alone with autistic toddler has a tire blow out and pulls over right by this diner. Called triple A and no one to be found to help me, toddler freaking out and I’m beside myself crying because there was nowhere open to get a new tire. Called around and around and finally in absolute desperation went into the diner to see if anyone had the number of the attached garage who might be able to help. “Sorry, he’s having a baby today!” was the response. Cue more crying… suddenly, angel waitress says “no no don’t cry! It’s ok.. one second”… and a gentleman comes out to take a look. Turns out he is the husband of the owner. He opened the garage, for me- a stranger who never heard of eldred or the diner- and changed the entire tire. Then refused a penny in payment. Ok, I sent my son in to buy drinks so he could leave a big tip- also wouldn’t accept it. These people are utter gold. I don’t have enough words of thanks to give them, maybe you do by going in there and sharing support with them. Thank you Irene. Thank you Jesse. “It is weird but I stopped eating bagels because (to put it nicely) they stopped me up. Monticello Bagels does not do that. Next: Their everything bagel does not seem SUPER SALTY like everywhere else. Next: They have gotten a little smaller over the years. I would love if they put them back to the size they were 7 years ago. Next: The breakfast sandwiches are great.. The tuna on bagel is good. Next: I think they don't put enough lox spread or cream cheese. I like it to be more than a thick smear. People say he has the best coffee. I believe LaChula in Liberty Mall has the best Columbian Coffee. OVERALL: I 💘 MONTICELLO BAGELS. I have been going here for about 20 years. When I lived in NYC area, I used to come up house hunting in Livingston Manor & would stop here. I don't live so close anymore but everytime I am in the area, I usually stop by. I now have a gluten allergy & still consume one anyway. I always get mine toasted & to date I haven't found a better bagel in NYS.“

“I used the liquor store here twice; it's quaint but not a lot of room for stock or variety. They stopped carrying Coconut Cartel so I won't drive out of my way to go here anymore but it's not because the store is a bad place.

Parking: Parking is very limited; there are a few spaces in a small lot around the corner. I've never seen more than that.“

“There's more to 24/7 Bistro than meets the eye! My first experience here was brought on by a case of late-night munchies while staying at Resorts Caatskills' hotel. The menu both online & posted outside the restaurant were easy to browse, & I was able to figure out what I wanted before visiting. Upon arrival, there was clear signage at the end of the counter that stated take-out orders could be placed there. The male employee on duty greeted me immediately, & he was able to handle multiple customers with ease. I apologized beforehand, as I knew my order was going to be difficult. I follow a keto lifestyle, so food modifications are the norm for me. I ordered a burger, & I asked to have it without the bun, & I stated I could not have the fries that come with the burger. The employee asked if I would like to substitute a side salad, & I was pleasantly surprised! Many places, especially late at night, do not offer substitutions, but the employee seemed to genuinely want to help me find a way to make the meal work for my restrictions, which I greatly appreciated. I ended up ordering a burger, no bun, with lettuce & tomato, & a side salad. He told me it would be about 10 minutes, & I hit the gaming floor in the interim. When I returned 10 minutes later, my food was ready, as promised. It was packaged amazingly well... I wish I had taken pictures, but I was so hungry, I didn't think to do so until afterwards lol! The burger was perfectly cooked to my specifications, with the correct toppings, and it tasted fresh & delicious. The side salad was put together beautifully, not just thrown in the container as what I'm usually used to. It tasted as great as it looked! I ended up returning again soon after, which I will review separately. Kudos to the overnight staff at 24/7, & a BIG thank you to the chef for taking such pride in the presentation & packaging of my to-go meal!“
