“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. I just ordered bistec a la Mexicana. I can already taste it. But I do have to try and see what it's like. I like mine, small but thick cuts and lots of sweet white onions that blend with the peppers, roasted tomatoes, and jalapeños with the rice and beans. Absolutely can't wait. I do have to run to the store for the coca cola with the cane sugar. All other cokes are fake. The mexican glass bottle one is it.“

“This place is super cute and the drinks are very good!! Went with my sister for a trifecta kinda day and the margs did not disappoint! We didn’t have the food but the people around us ordered some items and it looked and smelled super great!

The place is pretty small as far as like it’s just the front area but they have a bar style table in the middle and tables on both sides. Music was pretty standard we didn’t go on a brunch day so not sure if it’s more turnt but we had a good time! Yes they have Tajin and they can put that on your rim!

We also went back a second time and go to go drinks and they were delicious there’s like over 15 flavors so that makes it super fun!

The owners were welcoming and seemed to have a good raport with people who seemed to be their regular customers. They recommend the steak and beef tongue , and I also tried the chicken. Other popular ones were sold out, which is always a good sign.The food was fresh and had good flavor. I liked the beef tongue most, which was really tender and slightly gamey. Prices were also reasonable for the amount you get. The horchata was refreshing and not too sweet. Most customers seemed to pull up in the parking lot, which is convenient for the busy street they're on. I will definitely be back for this- authentic and delicious!“

Parking: Found a couple of empty spots on the street. It was around 5 pm during the week.“

I had a huarache, which was perfectly fried with all the right toppings. My husband enjoyed the birria tacos, with the tortillas that had been classically marinated and pan fried. We'll be back.“

Finally dined in last weekend and was over the moon with the food and service! I'm originally from LA and am very discerning when it comes to Mexican food. “I ordered Birria Ramen for the first time and boy was I in for a treat. I was hesitant at first to try it. That being said, I thought just give it a try and you just might like it. Well, like is a mild word. I LOVED it! So tasty with just the right amount of seasonings. The ramen was al dente, not mushy. I hate mushy noodles. The sauce and the birria was sooo delicioso. It came in a large container that could easily have fed two people or if for one person, there was enough leftover to have a meal the next day, which happened to be exactly what I have done. Can't wait to eat it tonight for dinner.

So the moral of this story is give The Kitchen a try, if you have not as of yet. Order the absolutely delicious birria ramen and you will not be disappointed! As a matter of fact, I will try other offerings at The Kitchen. I sure the food will be as tasty as the birria ramen.“
