“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! I like mine, small but thick cuts and lots of sweet white onions that blend with the peppers, roasted tomatoes, and jalapeños with the rice and beans. Absolutely can't wait. I do have to run to the store for the coca cola with the cane sugar. All other cokes are fake. The mexican glass bottle one is it.“

Tecas Tacos is a food truck parked right outside Flower Park in New Rochelle, and it is absolutely worth the trip. I tried the beef tongue taco for the first time, and it blew me away. Slow cooked for six hours, it was unbelievably tender and flavorful, topped with fresh onions and salsa verde.

I also had the quesabirria (birria quesadillas), which came with a rich consomé for dipping, insanely good. The al pastor taco had that perfect pineapple pork combo, and the steak and birria tacos were on point too.

Everything was bursting with flavor, and I washed it all down with a cold Mexican Coca-Cola in a glass bottle, the perfect touch. If you’re a taco lover or just someone who appreciates authentic, high-quality street food, this truck is a MUST.
