“Fast Service and seating even when the parking lot is full..(the sit and wait method will grab you a space fastest) the staff is always friendly. The Crab Cake Benedict is one of the best we've ever had and it's a hard dish to get right to the point it's the only place we have it now...the Crab is real Crab and a plentiful portion, the Apple French Toast is another favorite. We've eaten here many times and was always pleased with the portions and quality..They have good deserts too and also serve liquor (drinks). The Restaurant is Newer / Modern and the bathrooms are always clean. Definitely a place you'd enjoy eating at!“

“Classic diner with an extensive menu that includes daily specials. The parking lot was full, which is always a good sign for me. I tried the daily special of the gyro platter and the chicken noodle soup. The soup was sufficiently savory and soothing, the lamb in the gyro platter was the typical pre-slide thin patties, the lettuce was fresh romaine with nice thick slices of juicy tomatoes and red onions with a generous dusting of briny feta. The portions are also generous and I wasn’t able to finish my meal. The prices are very reasonable and the service was exceptional. Definitely adding this Tibbett’s to my list of go-to diners.“

“I came here regularly when the original owner George was in charge. Charming guy who stopped what he was doing to yell Hello to everyone who walked in. The food was regular diner food that he elevated. Huge portions and decent price. He retired or left and people who worked for him took over. I rarely go now. Food is decent but prices went up and portions are smaller. The servers are good and personable. Place seems to always be busy since there are several schools and offices in the area. Still decent but you don't get as much value for your money and no charm and personality from George.“

“Back in my home state and staying with my sister in the Bronx, there was no way I was going home without coming here for some hometown New York style diner good grub. I typically grab Dunkin Donuts on a daily but it’s just something about that diner style coffee in that old school but traditional white mug. It was so good. I opted for a a western omelette with turkey and Lo AND BEHOLD, they put real cut up/chunked up pieces of turkey in my omelette too.“

“This is a small diner. We went there at 4 pm on a Saturday afternoon. It is really cozy inside. I ordered Lemon Soup and a bacon cheeseburger. My friend got Lemon Chicken and Potatoes, Greek style. The portions were very large. The lemon soup was amazing. The lemon chicken was so juicy and flavorful. My Bacon Cheeseburger was really good. The bacon was huge and roll was really perfect. So delicious. Then we ended with cheesecake. It was a great meal and not that expensive. Thanks guys, we had a good time.“

“Great place! I like how large the menu is and how quickly the food came out. The fries were the perfect ratio of crispy outside to fluffy inside - definitely get the fries if you're going here. I will definitely be back again soon!

“Above all this new owner created a new atmosphere that seems very charming and comfortable. For my time here I received chocolate chip pancakes(a stack of four) w/ 2 hash browns and they were very tasty and filling. The chocolate pancakes weren’t too sweet but very carb heavy. I got a crazy potato with a cheese stick. It wasn’t dry nor too moist, the softest part was definitely the inside with the cheese. I also got a sunshine slush and a mango slush. The sunshine was a mango and strawberry mix with the same flavored bubbles and some small jelly cubes that were a happy surprise. The mango slush is much more recommended since it wasn’t too sweet and would relate more towards a frozen agua Fresca so very refreshing and light.

There a hit an never miss type of thing. I notice alot of people come here so you have to catch them early so you can get a spot. Kinda small diner wish they would get bigger because they are that good but other than that you won’t be disappointed. Amazing food I always come running lol my husband too.“

The food is on point all around my favorite is the cheeseburger and the breakfast with a Belgium waffle . The staff is attentive, and remembers our faces when we come. While this Flushing mall has seen better days, Uncle Bill's is a clean and clearly well kept and the decor is not the torn vinyl benches and dirty walla typical of New York diners. The staff were very courteous, friendly, attentive and engaging. The menu is standard breakfast items, but the food was very host, fresh, fast and flavorful! Breakfast came with free coffee... does anyone else do that anymore? And the coffee was actually good, not burnt and bitter! So 2 eggs and protein with hash, toast, and coffee was 13.90 after taxes. Note: 0.55 added if you don't pay cash.
