“Encanto Crepes & Cafe is the best place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The crepes are delicious, there are a lot to choose from and although I haven’t tried them all yet, the crepes I have tried are the best. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The cafe is always clean and inviting and I should also mention the coffee, it’s amazing. This is a place to go if you’re not sure what you want to eat, you’re guaranteed to be satisfied. If you order one crepe and then want another, just go to the counter and order another, they will bring it to your table, no judgment here. Encanto, best cafe, give it a try you won’t regret it 🙌”
“Amazing experience at this somewhat new restaurant in Southampon Village. Celebrity chef Rocco Dispirito did not disappoint! Restaurant atmosphere was beautiful and intimate, food was delicious, my steak cooked to perfection and wait staff was attentive. Cant wait to go back.”

“Great find! On a chilly winter night Nookies provided the perfect last minute (a rare occurrence, I believe) dinner for two with cool easy vibes and really yummy warming food.
Fun retro decor and neat off the beaten path spot in Southold area.
We also got a nice quick little tour of the motel and would love to stay here on our next visit out!

“Saw a sign for taco's and wanted to grab a quick bite to go for me and two friends. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. I was greeted by a very nice man who explained the menu and made great recommendations. I asked approximately how long it would take as I had my dog in the car. He replied about 10 minutes, so why don't you bring the dog to the patio and I will bring her a bowl of water. I food was prepared exactly as I ordered it and they didn't chinz on the ingredients. I'll be back.”

“We were so excited to celebrate our event last night at what we understood to be the newest 5 star restaurant in Southold. We were left extremely disappointed! Service (sat evening) was awful! The food was terrible. Our waitress eventually made her way to our table to ask for a drink order. We responded that we hadn’t selected a wine yet and she promptly turned on her heels and never returned. The GM recognized that we had been waiting for some time and took our wine order, app order and entree order…by memory. The waitress sometime later returned with our wine. It was the wrong bottle. After back and forth banter we asked to see the menu to indicate it was in fact the wrong bottle of wine. The waitress goes and promptly retrieves what you would hope be the correct wine-no. She returned with yet again the wrong wine. At this point we thru caution to the wind and said, “pour it”! After waiting approximately 30 + min for our appetizers, they arrived. Bread for the table was served when our appetizers arrived and not a moment sooner. The grilled octopus was hot served on cold fingerling potatoes. Odd combination. Kale and goat cheese salad, ok. Raw tuna, delicious. Onto entrees. We waited, at a minimum of an hour to an hour and a half for our entrees. Unacceptable! The chicken was not fully cooked-pink inside. Unacceptable! The Steak au poivre, which is supposed to be made with cracked green peppercorns in brine; was nothing more that steak served with an ABUNDANCE of ground black pepper and little to no sauce. Unacceptable! The Orecchiette with truffle was good. The GM compensated by offering us dessert on the house. This experience at Southold Social was so disappointing that we spent the first 10 min of our ride home just saying, “oh my god that was awful and we we will never return”.”

“The team at Cowfish went above and beyond to host our wedding. We spent the entire time completely in awe of the space and we are so grateful for the responsiveness, kindness, and care of everyone who helped make our day so special. Just stunned in the best way at the effort, details, and accommodation. It was more beautiful than we could have imagined. All of the food was delicious. We keep hearing how everyone especially loved the shrimp tempura passed app! We highly recommend going for event menu extras like oysters, clams, and other apps. The lawn space and outdoor bar area were beautiful and we were lucky to have amazing October weather on top of it. We recommend Cowfish for any event with their wonderful catering team, great food, and atmosphere!”

“Such a delightful happenstance. Incredibly groovy and inviting atmosphere filled with unique displays and fabulous pop art painted walls and ceilings. Marco was an incredible host and the menu is extensive, sure to please all.

“@fred terry made this spot on the stretch what it is today. @gingerbreadUniversity, Gingerbread Fred, Fred Terry, My ol' boss at the Lobster Roll Northside on Sound Ave in Riverhead, NY... This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.”
