“We had a wonderful dinner at GG. Service was warm and attentive, interior was comfortable, and the new menu was delicious. We especially enjoyed the scallops and the duck. Bonus points for the cocktails - the Shiso Pretty was excellent. I am excited to return when the weather warms up and the patio opens.”

“We visited on Saturday evening during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From the moment we entered through the front door, we were welcomed by big smiles, big smells of delicious food, and what felt like a warm hug from a good friend. Classic and palette awakening cocktails. Try the brandade fritters and the best Caesar salad I have ever enjoyed. Sea bass was fresh out of the waters that surround the east end. The burger and the roasted chicken. For sides we ordered the onion gratin, romanesco and French fries. Surprise banana split for dessert. Delicious! See you again soon. Happy Holidays!”

The tacos were absolutely amazing — packed with flavor and offered in so many different varieties that it was hard to choose just one (so I didn’t!). Each one was unique and delicious. The spicy margarita was the perfect drink to pair with the food — just the right balance of heat and refreshment. And don’t even get me started on the desserts... they were to die for. Save room, trust me. To top it all off, the owner, Dan, was incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience feel personal and inviting. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does. This place is a must-visit for any taco lover. I’ll definitely be back!”

Our waitress, Gabby, was absolutely fantastic attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I had a small issue with my salad and the manager Jason, came right over to the table. “Ate there with my entire family. Started with fresh avocado dip and chips, then had 6 dinners on the menu all different. Everyone DELICIOUS !!. Atmosphere was busy but not real noisy We could eat and chat without shouting. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. They would look from a distance and see if we needed anything. A great taste I had the steak and it was fabulous. Easy to get to and we all had a great time !!”

“@fred terry made this spot on the stretch what it is today. @gingerbreadUniversity, Gingerbread Fred, Fred Terry, My ol' boss at the Lobster Roll Northside on Sound Ave in Riverhead, NY... This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.”
