“I’m not one to often write reviews, but I Had such a great dinner here this Friday. The atmosphere was gorgeous and welcoming, and our food came out fresh and hot. Sophie was our waitress and was super friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. She checked on us throughout the meal without hovering, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!”

“We visited on Saturday evening during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From the moment we entered through the front door, we were welcomed by big smiles, big smells of delicious food, and what felt like a warm hug from a good friend. Classic and palette awakening cocktails. Try the brandade fritters and the best Caesar salad I have ever enjoyed. Sea bass was fresh out of the waters that surround the east end. The burger and the roasted chicken. For sides we ordered the onion gratin, romanesco and French fries. Surprise banana split for dessert. Delicious! See you again soon. Happy Holidays!”

“My brother and I went to Orient Point to see the sunrise. Afterwards, we decided we’d get something to eat but wanted to try something new and not too far back into the island (Long Island). I found this diner on Google Maps with high reviews and decided we should check it out as it was about 15-20minutes away. The diner itself is located at a motel/bungalow location named Silver Sands Motel. There was plenty of parking outside and it was giving a warm, vintage vibe to it. We arrived about 15minutes after the diner had opened so there was no wait and we sat at the bar rather than a regular table. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The diner itself was very clean and well maintained. The menu had many great options but my brother and I decided to do the farm eggs meal which included 2 eggs made your way, hash browns and a choice of bread. We also decided to get a side of bacon each (separate charge from the meal). I didn’t get a picture of the bacon as I took the picture of the food before the bacon got to us but it was a LOT of very delicious bacon for EACH of us and totally worth the extra charge. The bill came out to around $50 which was around $25 for the both of us. 10000x better than going to an IHOP. Anytime I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely be going to Nookies for some breakfast. And honestly, I might even check out the motel because it looks absolutely gorgeous.”

“Went to Maroni for the first time today....we split the chicken parm, the chicken milanese, and the penne ala vodka. All of it was amazing!! I can't even choose which I liked best, as all three were so great. Had the meatballs as well, and they were also perfect. One of the best meals I've had in a while, and I have nothing but good things to say.”

“I've been a fan ever since they opened a store in Greenport. Just now I had my favorite lunch of their salt bagel, cream cheese, tomato and red onion. Is there anything better on earth? I do not think so. Crunch in the toasted outside, soft and chewy inside, absolute heaven.”

“Last night at Cowfish Restaurant with my family was truly special. The service was amazing from start to finish. Our waitress, Gabby, was absolutely fantastic attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I had a small issue with my salad and the manager Jason, came right over to the table. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was professional, accommodating. Thanks to Gabby and Jason, our evening was the best.!!!! We'll definitely be back!”

“Today me and my bf broke up here and meanwhile we had good time. Sparkling lemonade was surprisingly delicious and rose just good as usual. We arrived there around 3 jn the afternoon, we were quickly set to the table and I felt so delighted to bath in the warm beautiful sunshine. Good wine, good conversation and goodbye, it was a lovely stay in croteaux.”

“My wife an I are late bloomers. We only found Magic Fountain at the beginning of Summer 2025. I can eat any Ice Cream. However, my wife can't have any dairy, specifically casein. We've tried a few other places (we're in Port Jeff Station nowadays) and both grew up in southern Nassau. Any place I would stop by...usually had nothing for her..maybe lemon ice. plus the staff would get screwed up (one time, a local place gave her regular ice cream instead of non,-dairy). Well..we stopped by in Summer 2025, I walked in and said my wife CAN'T have dairy. Every staff member looked and understood. They pointed out the non dairy ice creams they MAKE there, along with Sorbet including a Blood Orange, which she loved. My first time, I tried Kulfi..which was delicious. since then, we average twice a month..taking almost an hour ride, just for ice cream. It's that worth it. Some of the flavors I've had there; Kulfi Guiness Honey Lavender Lemon Ginger Coffee and other assorted flavors. I'm 70..having lived on the Island all my life. Remembering Jahn's of RVC, and countless other Ice Cream Shoppes..but THIS IS THE BEST!!”

This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.”

“🌮🔥 A Taco Lover’s Dream! I had an incredible experience at this taco spot! The tacos were absolutely amazing — packed with flavor and offered in so many different varieties that it was hard to choose just one (so I didn’t!). Each one was unique and delicious. The spicy margarita was the perfect drink to pair with the food — just the right balance of heat and refreshment. And don’t even get me started on the desserts... they were to die for. Save room, trust me. To top it all off, the owner, Dan, was incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience feel personal and inviting. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does. This place is a must-visit for any taco lover. I’ll definitely be back!”

Atmosphere was busy but not real noisy We could eat and chat without shouting. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. They would look from a distance and see if we needed anything. A great taste I had the steak and it was fabulous. Easy to get to and we all had a great time !!”
