“Great experience at Good Ground Tavern. The food and atmosphere were excellent, but Ben K really made our visit. He was friendly, attentive, and provided outstanding service from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have Ben as our server again.”

“We visited on Saturday evening during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From the moment we entered through the front door, we were welcomed by big smiles, big smells of delicious food, and what felt like a warm hug from a good friend. Classic and palette awakening cocktails. Try the brandade fritters and the best Caesar salad I have ever enjoyed. Sea bass was fresh out of the waters that surround the east end. The burger and the roasted chicken. For sides we ordered the onion gratin, romanesco and French fries. Surprise banana split for dessert. Delicious! See you again soon. Happy Holidays!”

“Came here for lunch . It’s always Great food and great atmosphere and location…but
my only complaint is the service.
It’s usually slow but not to bad
But yesterday was very slow and disorganized
There was Not a lot of people for lunch on a weekday when we came either and
it took a while for us to get seated and waitress forgot one of my orders I had to remind them of it.
I’ll come back since it has great food and location but please improve the service.”

“Went to Maroni for the first time today....we split the chicken parm, the chicken milanese, and the penne ala vodka. All of it was amazing!! I can't even choose which I liked best, as all three were so great. Had the meatballs as well, and they were also perfect. One of the best meals I've had in a while, and I have nothing but good things to say.”

The tacos were absolutely amazing — packed with flavor and offered in so many different varieties that it was hard to choose just one (so I didn’t!). Each one was unique and delicious. The spicy margarita was the perfect drink to pair with the food — just the right balance of heat and refreshment. And don’t even get me started on the desserts... they were to die for. Save room, trust me. To top it all off, the owner, Dan, was incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience feel personal and inviting. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does. “@fred terry made this spot on the stretch what it is today. @gingerbreadUniversity, Gingerbread Fred, Fred Terry, My ol' boss at the Lobster Roll Northside on Sound Ave in Riverhead, NY... This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.”

“Ate there with my entire family. Started with fresh avocado dip and chips, then had 6 dinners on the menu all different. Everyone DELICIOUS !!. Atmosphere was busy but not real noisy We could eat and chat without shouting. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. They would look from a distance and see if we needed anything. A great taste I had the steak and it was fabulous. Easy to get to and we all had a great time !!”
