“Update: Went back their 1st day open again (March 28 2024).. and of course, had my favorite mezzo app! ? That pita bread ?Sam was great as always but one thing that did happen was a credit card charge on receipt but we paid cash. It says CC service charge. We just asked about it and then she said she forgot to take it off so we just told her if she took it off to just keep it as part of the tip we already left.Also we ordered mussels but felt like we took out a lot of empty shells. We found some in the broth but was alot of empty more than would be. Enough that we both questioned it. so we will try again.B loves the cornbread. I just remember the key lime pie I had last year for my bday. Yum!OLD REVIEW: I thought I already left a review but realized I didn't. This was my favorite discovery last Summer and I kept coming back bringing different people! I got sad to see it was temporarily closed but it is scheduled to open today and we are coming! ? Gotta go find all the pictures. I even celebrated my Bday there last year. Willing to drive from Southampton just to order to go ? Such a cute place...great food!”

“Went for a birthday dinner with a group of 6. The service was A1. Very nice and helpful. The table was also a horseshoe shape that was nice for the group to interact.It was restaurant week. The food was good, above average. Nothing blew us away but it was good.I will go back.”

“Great location on the water. The service was impeccable, the waitress took order for 6 people without taking notes and nailed every meal and drink. Amazing. The clam chowder was delicious although the NY steak was a little tougher than I expected, but the side of truffle fries almost made up for it.Would return and recommend as all the dishes looked great.”

“This is a follow up to our 2023 review of R., Aire at the Hampton Maid in Hampton Bays. As superb as R. Aire was during the past eighteen months, recent visits underscore that the restaurant continues to reach new culinary heights under Chef and Owner Alex Bujoreanu. In a landscape of high priced and often mediocre restaurants on the East End, R. Aire is a unique venue - a chef driven restaurant which offers sophisticated cuisine inspired by the classics of Spain - in an elegant, serene setting - and at moderate prices.Although we have previously taken note of R. Aire’s outstanding signature paellas, the “non rice” sections of the menu offer a range of equally delicious dishes - all made with the finest (and often local) ingredients and reflecting the chef’s masterful synthesis of both classical and modern influences.For example, Chef Bujoreanu offers an amazing Fideua - a short grain pasta dish cooked in the method of paella (in a paella pan) in a richly flavored sofrito. R. Aire’s Fideua is a textural wonder, served two ways - as a seafood and squid ink classic or a rustic wild mushroom and duck version. Fideua is rarely offered in the U.S. - these renditions are authentic and superb.R. Aire’s appetizers and small plate “pinchos”offer an array of delectable choices, from flavorful morsels of grilled lamb (Morunos), aromatic grilled Shishito peppers, succulent octopus, airy meatballs and a lovely heirloom beet salad. One could construct a deeply satisfying dinner from these perfectly composed small plates.In addition to the Fideua and traditional paellas for which R. Aire is known - the paellas have a perfect “socarrat” base and are cooked to order and served in individual paella pans - the non rice dishes are equally impressive. Memorable main courses include pristine local sea scallops, breast of duck, Iberico pork and a filet mignon of Wagyu beef. This is cooking at a very high level.The service at R. Aire is warm and inviting. The restaurant’s gracious manager, Grigore, provides an attentive hands on presence in the dining room; he is clearly focused on delivering the service and hospitality which has been the restaurant’s credo since it opened.It should be noted the restaurant’s wine list has continued to evolve, offering a range of wines from Spain and the U.S. and other wine regions from excellent producers - and at fair prices.In a world of formulaic restaurants and homogeneous food, R. “Want to give a huge shout out to the owners of Chenzas Twisted Tacos! I was passing through with my family the last few evenings, but was never able to get there before close. Last night, at about a few minutes to 8pm, which is closing time, I stopped and the owners took great care of us. Anywhere else and typically you would get “sorry, it’s closing crime!” This was not the case at Chenzas Twisted Tacos! They fired up the grill, fryer, and whatever else to accommodate my family and I. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the place was immaculate. The owners took great care of us and treated us like family. We will definitely be back!”

“Had a great brunch with my mom a few Sundays back. I had the shrimp and grits and my mom a breakfast specialty bowl. Also had the duck empanadas. Food and service were excellent and we had a great view of the bay as we ate and chatted. First time dining there and it was great. Bar and dining area set up With a great island vibe.”
“This is one of my favorite vineyards on the island. We discovered this place through my husbands Riverhead family hometown and it has become a quarterly addition to when we visit the family. We came here for a wine tasting and were introduced to the wine club and we haven’t regretted it. The team at Macari always follows up with member concerns and is genuine when things aren’t always seamless and try to make things right in the moment when you give feedback. Highly recommend if you are looking for a wine club and you live in New York City.”

“This is up there for best meal I've had. For appetizers we got a dozen of the East coast oysters which were very fresh and sweet, The Naughty Blu was very good and, when asked, got a generous amount of extra blue cheese olives, the Apple Bread Pudding was amazing and a decent size. But the star of the meal was the Local Flounder Francaise. The fish was flaky and well seasoned, the veggies were perfectly cooked and the beurre blanc sauce was nice and rich. Overall, *french kiss*. Giving 4 stars though because, while our server was nice and attentive, they didn't know whether one dessert had nuts in it or not, which one person in our party was allergic to. Luckily, before she ate it we luckily caught it in time. But with nut allergies being so serious and common you should know what does or does not have nuts in it.”

“This is a perfect vineyard to start your day off at. I personally can't drink red wine at noon so bubbly is a much better choice for me. Our server was knowledgeable and it was a gorgeous day to sit outside and look at the vineyard. The wine flight was yummy too.”

“This hole in the wall coffee shop is so cute! I wanted to get an affogato so badly, but went with a mocha latte instead because it was very cold and windy. The coffee was really good and high quality. The only thing I would say is the cafe is pretty small and when there’s a lot of people it can feel quite claustrophobic.”

“Such a great experience. The owner is charismatic and I believe stopped at every table. I lived in Alaska for 7 years and I've eaten a lot over Halibut. The special was Halibut w/ a champagne caviar sauce and it was in the top two I've had the pleasure to enjoy in the lower 48. The Truffle grilled cheese was awesome. The duck was cooked perfectly. The steak fritz was on point. The soup dujour was cream of cauliflower and was just perfect on the pallet. We will definitely be back for the aged steaks and more.”

“I can not tell you how what I felt walking into this place with a nostalgic feel of the country and a mom and pops feel shop cozy and calm. Stress free. My coworker and I ordered a Italian on a roll. Wanted a hero but they were sold out. You know what they did? Packed the roll so big it made up for what we wanted and it was one of the best we ever ate. God bless you and the sweet woman back there. I hope we will be out there more to get more from you. So generous and caring. After eating that sandwich I wanted to give you guys a hug for how well you took care of us. Thank you. We will be back. If anyone is doubting just do it. “As a starter, we opted for the Chicken and Lemongrass dumplings, and let me tell you, they were absolutely divine! They're delicately steamed and served in a zesty ginger glaze, accompanied by a Thai dipping sauce. They're so delicious, you don't even need the dip! The marinated filet mignon steak tips also never fail to impress – they're consistently tender and bursting with flavor, making them a must-have every time we dine here. As for the main course, we invariably choose the baby back ribs. Good ribs are hard to come by in New York, but this spot has by far the best ones on the North Fork! The prices are reasonable, the cocktails consistently deliver on flavor, and the service is consistently excellent... all in all, just exceptional across the board.”

“This is the best coffee around, and they roast in house. Traditionally I’m weary about in house roasters in a small town, but this place has it right. The baristas are very knowledgeable and efficient. As far as the space, it is rather small but quaint. If you are in the area and want 3rd wave coffee, this is going to be your best option available.”

“Visited Greenport for me and my girlfriend's anniversary, stopped here for some drinks and pizza not expecting too much and were honestly blown away. The owner helped us out in picking cocktails based on our likes and dislikes and they all turned out amazing. The pizza was delicious with many different topping options and you could tell they were made fresh. This place is an awesome little spot in Greenport and I cannot recommend enough. *Ps: mashed potatoes, bacon and caramelized onions on a white pie...just trust me”

“Such a sweet place with the best food we've had in as long as we can remember. I had the Eggs-in-a-Hole with the creamiest grits and best roasted tomatoes. The brioche bread was light and toasted perfectly. Hubby had the Crab Cake Benny on a biscuit that included fried green tomatoes and the best lemony hollandaise sauce. Even the decaf coffee was super tasty. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was perfect. Just the feeling you want when you go to wine country. We will be back.”
