You can’t allow yourself to not ask Nicolas, the sommelier and also from Argentina, for a nice wine to accompany your food, he nailed it. “First of all, let me say that we loved this place. It has a very cozy and friendly atmosphere. The service they provided was top notch, our server Ruben had such a great attitude and was so incredible with his knowledge of the food and wine selection that you can tell that he loves his job. The food quality was mesmerizing, we had the tomahawk steak for two and was so tasty! I highly recommend it. All of these things made our night to be a very memorable one!“
“Had dinner here after Sleep No More (just around the corner) and it was amazing. Food was delicious, service was quick and attentive and the drinks were also great. My wife and I shared the choripan for our appetizer. Heard about it on a Netflix show about street food in Argentina and it didn't disappoint. For our mains, she has the salmon and I had the ribeye. Both were delicious. Also they had the entire restaurant sing happy birthday when they brought out our dessert. The restaurant is a bit small, but it didn't feel crowded/packed. Overall a great dinner and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back.“

Accompanying salads and potatoes great too. Dulce de leche pancakes are a must order. The Balcarce cake dessert was over the top good. Excellent wine selection and good espresso. Super attentive service. Don't let the location on otherwise ugly Tonnelle Avenue fool you. This is a Hudson County gem.“

“One of the best Italian places you can go in LIC! Every dish is so fresh and flavorful. I loved the fresh pasta dishes that had the perfect al dente consistency and hearty sauces. The appetizers were all a hit too. We went with a dozen people and kept order because we loved everything that kept coming out! Highly recommend going with a big group so you can try more! “We made reservations for my fiancé’s parents anniversary. Staff was very friendly. We started off ordering Sangria, which was sweet but not very strong, grilled octopus, fried calamari and empanadas. For our entries, we had two orders of the mixed grill for 2, and 3 orders of the churrasco. The mixed grill was delicious combinations of different meats, chicken, and even chorizo. However, compared to other Argentine restaurants, the portion is definitely smaller, and costlier. The location itself is a bit small, but we did not feel cramped in our seating.“

This is a local restaurant, with great authentic food from Argentina. The waitresses and staff have been here for years, they're all great.If you're looking for 5 star service with a high end decorative ambiance, this is not the place, go somewhere else, cause this is a humble local hidden gem tbh. “Ate here today for dinner after work. This is definitely my first time eating Argentinian food and I'm feeling really curious about what to choose and eat. I had ordered and tried the beef empanadas and pork chops with a side of mashed potatoes. As an overall, it was super good and delicious to put with chimichurri. “If you want steak and not have to break the bank for it this is the place. The straps are phenomenal. The Skirt steak is my favorite tender and awesome grilled flavor. A nice touch is they give you a sausage on the house as an appetizer. The service was also great, friendly and helpful with suggestions“

Some time ago it was an Argentina-style family restaurant, now it is innovative and modern, with plenty of color. “Part of a downstairs marketplace, Criollas was a little hard to find. Food however was very good. Alfajador was a standout, as was the Caprese empanada. Unfortunately there was no place to sit, you have to stand at the tables and eat.Vegetarian options: Quite a few veg options here“
