Great N.Y. Noodletown, is a definitely great Chinatown Cantonese spot... plus for more than noodles! For almost 20 years, always enjoyed my meals at this barebones spot. Keep in mind that this not fancy restaurant is also not big, so you may have to wait a little for a table - and there's not much room to wait. My boyfriend's family was in town and we wanted to eat some good Chinese food! We came here on a Friday night and there was no lines! We were seated right away. It definitely helps that his mom spoke Chinese, which helped with the ordering and clarifying certain items on the menu. Our favorites were the casserole /clay pot dishes. This is one of the few places that serves **real** cantonese food attracting **both** Asian and non-Asian guests. Their food is just so good that they don’t need to change to cater to any group of people. It’s busy and always full inside, but the wait isn’t long because the staff works hard to deliver food very quickly. Try the roast duck and pork, and if you like chow fun they have what you’ll love. Did I mention everything is so affordable too?
