Excellent food and service
Extremely long wait… nothing available at 8pm
Pretty, Upper East Side brownstone full of regulars who may prize the posh, homey ambiance more than a particular entree. We tried the 3-course Restaurant Week menu ($60) which probably isn’t their finest moment. JoJo by Jean-Georges offers a chic and luxurious atmosphere, perfect for brunch or a night out. The menu features delicious dishes, including the amazing tuna tartar, which is a must-try, and the lamb and beef tenderloin, which are highly recommended. Recent guests enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu, highlighting the gem lettuce and strawberries salad with its spectacular dressing, and pasta cooked precisely right. Others praised the salmon and roast chicken for their exceptional flavor. Desserts, like the Peach Cobbler, were noted for their beautiful presentation and delightful taste. The service is polite, responsive, and accommodating, even for large parties with specific dietary needs. While the restaurant is not inexpensive, many feel it is definitely worth it. Guests appreciated the excellent service, with some mentioning special touches for occasions like anniversaries. The decor is modern with a quirky aspect of mismatched place settings and glassware. However, some guests noted that the air conditioning struggles in heat, and the noise level can make conversations difficult. Overall, the experience is enjoyable, with a calm and pleasant vibe, though it can be quite loud at times.
