Classic light fare & organic breads fill out the menu at this rustic-chic bakery/cafe chain.
After lunch nearby, I stopped in to this Le Pain for a good cup of Americano. The entrance is on Lexington at 65th street. Self service bakery and drinks counter is just inside the door on the right. If you want table service, go to the left and a hostess will help you. I ordered an Americano and luckily found a stool in the window overlooking east 65th. Seating is very limited. A few seats in a dark cubby hole on the right and a few stools by the window on the left.
