I was particularly impressed by the plentiful selection of food and drinks, especially the Latin x Mediterranean fusion. “From the moment we arrived, the hostess was incredibly pleasant and welcoming, major kudos to her! I really wish I had gotten her name for a proper shout-out. My reservation was for Saturday, November 20th at 7:45 pm, so I’m sure they’ll know exactly who I mean.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn they offer valet parking, which I had no idea about. The place itself is really cute and chic, with a great vibe. The drinks were very good, and the food was even better. The chaufa is a must, and the ceviche carretillero was absolutely superb.

Despite the craziness of uptown, I would definitely come back again.“

“The decor at Victors Cafe was absolutely stunning! I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and classy it felt, with a wonderful tropical vibe. Our waiter was truly phenomenal, constantly checking in on us and being incredibly attentive. And the food and desserts were simply amazing. We ordered a spinach dip, which was delicious, and a couple of cocktails that were very well crafted. The service was excellent. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time, as it’s very hard to get a spot as a walk-in.

“Our room was comfortable, spacious, and light with lovely retro-mod furnishings. The service team for both the room and the lobby restaurant were top notch - and our waiter even entertained my nine year old with magic tricks! The Central Park south location was perfect for us since it was only a 10 minute walk to the playground and space to run around. And guess what - when I realized after check out that I’d left something behind, the hotel staff retained it in their lost and found and even sent it to me. Fantastic service like this in every area is a rarity these days, and it’s so nice to have a stay with a hotel that takes it to heart. We look forward to our next visit!“

“This is an exclusive hotel bar featuring a collection of rare spirits, exceptional champagnes and wines.... that truly nails a refined old-world-style, with its warm, comfortable and cozy atmosphere and outstanding service! ???I really enjoyed the place and the red wine, a Californian Pinot Noir (Kistler) available by the glass, was tops! ???“

“Came here for lunch and it’s honestly a great place. Big table with plenty of room, some half-private cabins. During lunchtime, there is jazz background music. The place is a bit noisy.

The Caesar salad was made with fresh anchovies. And the cacio e pepe pasta was also really well made.

The waiters and the staff are very friendly. There is a special room for hanging your coats in case you’re coming in on a cold day.“

“We had the guacamole and chips, the carne tacos, an old fashioned, and one more cocktail I can't remember the name of but it was the only one with champagne, and the coconut tres leche. Every single thing we ordered was delicious, fresh, and left us wanting to come back for more. It's one of my new favorite Mexican restaurants now.“

Every single staff member here is amazing. Franck is a ROCKSTAR and made our meal lovely.

In terms of food, the dip sampler platter was so good and came with endless bread. Patatas bravas, salad verde, and beef kebabs were all perfectly seasoned. The cocktails we had (Neon Lights and Amaro Sour) were both delicious.

We also had a food allergy (dairy free) in our group and staff was fantastic with helping us order and flagging any sauces she needed to avoid.“

“Our visit to the Grand Salon at the Baccarat Hotel for brunch was delightful. As soon as you enter the Grand Salon, you are taken by the majestic appearance of the room, filled with a variety of decorations, including sculptures, crystal glasses, and books all over the place. The Christmas decorations were cute and memorable.

We started off with the Lime and Ricotta Pancake and the Baccarat Omelette along with two small pots of tea (Queen's Guard and Golden Glow). The Pancake was perfect cooked - slightly crisp on the outside and extremely soft and fluffy on the inside. The Omelette was delicious amd well plated, even though the portion size was a bit small (add 1-2 more eggs!). We then had the Hojicha tea and the Silver Needle, both of which were excellent. The almond croissant was a bit small and had a fusion of flavors (it had chocolate and some essence that we couldn't pin down).
Nonetheless, the experience was memorable and makes for a nice, romantic brunch.“
