I love this bakery. And I would give 5 stars except for one huge pet peeve of mine. EVERY TIME I go in the morning they are out of croissants. I understand they are popular. And perhaps they want to be frugal and not bake too many, BUT they are a bakery. There is no excuse to run out of croissants. And they have none. No plain, no chocolate, no almond. Best bakery in NYC. My old neighbor Frank Parisi (bless his soul) told me Sullivan St Bakery was the only bakery he knew that doesn’t use GUNK (preservatives) in their bread. If Frank who owned the oldest bakery in NY (Parisi bakery) says they’re good, you know they’re good. The croissants taste like caramel and baked to perfection crust but still soft inside. It’s my favorite and I highly recommend trying the croissant and focaccia
