I go to your Chelsea and Hell’s Kitchen locations. The difference in experience is day and night. Chelsea team is rude, flippant, and interacts with each other not patrons. Hell’s Kitchen provides great service. This has been the case for three years. You need new management in Chelsea.
I love this place I’ve beeen coming for years but the girl at the register this morning and yesterday had such a bad attitude and I’m not sure why.
The bread is one of NY’s best, and the pastries and coffee I had were both excellent!

Sullivan Street Bakery is a popular spot in NYC known for their fantastic pastries and breads. The bakery, owned by a James Beard award winner, offers a variety of breakfast options such as sandwiches and egg bowls. Customers highly recommend trying their croissants and focaccia, which are baked to perfection. The bakery is also famous for its flat square pizza, glazed donut, bombolini, and pecorino flatbread when it’s hot. Many visitors praise the quality of the baked goods, especially the glazed donut and bombolini, which are described as soft, creamy, and not oily. The mortadella sandwich is noted for being fresh and light, perfect for a quick snack or breakfast. Customers often mention that service is quick, though there can be a small line in the morning. Despite some complaints about croissants being unavailable in the mornings, Sullivan Street Bakery remains a great choice for casual breakfast with solid coffee beverages and outdoor seating options available.
