Definitely enjoyed my experience this week at the Grizzly Pear- friendly staff and great comics! I especially appreciated the hometown feeling after attending there twice (TH & Sat) I felt welcomed and a part of the local community- such great vibes!

The Grisly Pear is a great place for a drink with a cool atmosphere and interesting toilet cubicles. The selection of drinks is great and well made, with prices between $8-12. It offers a quaint setting and hosts comedy shows for $10 with a two drink minimum per person. The atmosphere is really nice overall, and the comedians can be very funny. However, experiences vary. While some staff are super nice and thoughtful, others have been rude. One bartender was rude and obnoxious, refusing to speak and serving others first. Another waitress was unpleasant to a customer who dozed off, threatening to throw them out. Some comedians recycle the same jokes, and the wait staff can be pushy about the drink minimum. Service before a shift change was fine, but complaints about rude behavior went unaddressed.
