“Moved out here a few years ago.. live literally within a mile of this joint.. never stopped by. Decided to give it a go tonight (st Paddy's day).. it was pretty busy.. but man. What a great idea. Wish I had come sooner. Joe, the owner, was bartending and was an absolute gentleman. The hostess and waiter, and the wait staff were all attentive and very nice. We got calamari and a couple of burgers. Very reasonable prices and really great food. No complaints at all. It was a very nice night out for the Mrs and I. And now, unfortunately for my wallet, I'll have to find the time to frequent this joint for dinner. Really great spot. Really felt like a part of the family immediately.“

“PHENOMENAL EATS!! We came here for a late lunch…every dish we ordered was stellar! We are always trying new restaurants and have eaten at quite a few Indian spots. Hands down, best one yet. the Chicken Tandoori was among of the best chicken I’ve had in my life. Was extremely fresh, came out steaming, and fell right off the bone beautifully. “Went in for breakfast. Our server was decent. Walked away as I was finishing telling him my order, which came out ICE COLD & WRONG!!!! I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“

Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

“We went for lunch when we were leasing a new car across the street at the Nissan Dealership. We had the grilled chicken sandwich which were very tasty. The owner came over and comped us an order of potato wedges. They were also very good. We will go back next time we are in the area. Very good customer service.“

“Today was my first time trying this place and all I can say is 10/10!! I got the chicken tikka kabob & bolani. The chicken was very tender & well seasoned for Afghan food. “Came in for dinner with my kids(we are visiting from Massachusetts) we put them back at the hotel and we came back cuz the vibe was so great! Food was AHH-MAZING! Service was on point ! Big Rangers bar and from the decor it also looks like a big Raiders bar as well...closing time says 11pm but that's not true, it's based on volume of people in the bar. If they are making money they will stay open. HIGHLY recommend!! Allof the servers and bartenders were great! Cant say enough about this place!! 5“

“Quaint little bar with great wing and drink specials on Wednesdays and has been a quintessential part of the Wantagh bar scene for about as long as I can remember and even before that. You can always count on friendly faces and cold drinks but definitely be prepared to bump some elbows when it gets busy because it gets tight! “This restaurant not only has the best food, but the kindest staff ever! We had a change in plans so I called in an order last min for a group of 10 people on a Friday. They accepted the order while having other huge parties AND during the crazy Fri night dinner rush... did not skimp on a single thing. The food was delivered hot and packaged incredibly! “Unfortunately, Burger Bar closed in December 2023 to be changed into a new restaurant called Burgerology that will open in early 2024. But Burger Bar had great cheeseburgers, French fries, and the best part of Burger Bar was their amazing and exquisite milkshakes with a range of delicious toppings.
