“Great price points, great service, and amazing desserts. The desserts here are so well done, and places like this are exactly what make Flushing so special. The menu here is extensive and unique. Where else in the US are you going to find stuff like this?

I got the lychee rose coconut pudding dessert, which comes with lychee and rose and coconut pudding served right inside a young coconut. They even give you a special spoon designed just for scraping the pulp out of the coconut at the end, which was a great touch. We also got the coconut milk purple rice ice sweet bowl, which was delicious and packed with toppings. We also tried the roasted pears with peach gum and snow lotus seeds. It was not too sweet, tasted incredibly authentic, and felt genuinely unique. Solid option if you want something different and high quality.

Our group tried three different things at this place, and yet I'm still excited to go back and try even more. Well done!“

“Love seeing the fresh mochi being made to order by the machine!! Worker was also friendly! It comes out warm and the seasoning reminds me of injeolmi but a little less sweet! The mochi itself was warm/ hot and had a very unique texture. You can taste the bumpy pricey bits but it’s not like something that you bite on and get a completely different texture when you hit a lump, overall it is still smooth just textured. 4/5

“Came here on a Wednesday at 10 PM for some late night shaved ice, the place has a very cozy atmosphere for the late hours. I got the chocolate shaved ice (since everyone seems to get mango) and loved how they decorated the ice a bit to look like a cute monster. Priced at ~$20 (they will ask for a tip) the ice is admittedly pricey but the portion is big, definitely designed for sharing. Besides the long-ish wait time for my order, I was overall satisfied here“

Apparently, it's been a while since we've been here, because the lobby/seating area has mostly been turned into a candy/snack convenience store (called Sakura Kit?), owned and operated separate from Meet Fresh. They have an extensive menu and the tastiest desserts!! Feels as fresh as the mishti or mithai from back home! my favorite is the Grilled Lamb Chops, the khala buna, kisuri, kebabs/ garlic naan, chicken walima roast and all the desserts. It’s difficult to pick one! Everything is so rich in flavor and tastes so authentic so you get exactly what you’re paying for but more. Servers are always efficient, happy and polite. One thing that stands this restaurant out from others is its ambience and aesthetic appearance. This is the perfect elegant spot for a family dinner, friend gathering or date night!
