“Went their for lunch and got a gyro sandwich that came with fries. Food was excellent and priced fairly. The service was friendly, right when I walked in I was greeted and helped. Restaurant was clean and located in an area with good parking. I Would recommend to anybody in the area who wants good greek food.“

“We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“We had a great experience. the gyro combo was tasty and full of gyro meat. the fries were perfect. nice crisp! the falafel balls were tasty as well with the sauce dip. the spanikopia was just as good. Had a good Greek beer fix. definitely would recommend if your looking for a good Greek meal.“

“Everything was good except I was extremely disappointed with my drink I ordered a coke they filled glass to top with ice so very little soda maybe 3 sips and charged $5.00 and no refills because of that being so cheap not to even have a full glass at that price I will not go back or recommend to my friends! Also with my dinner shishkbob they do not give you any pita bread and they charge $6.00 more for the same thing as lunch special and you get nothing more not even a piece of bread!“

“Stopped in after a wonderful recommendation from my good friend, Garrett. I thought I was in Greece, then I met the family. What a pleasure. Smiles everywhere. The atmosphere, the food and the wine was tops but the service was the best. I think there was a handsome model named Christian was working that night. Not only was he handsome but delightful as well. My daughter and my wife insisted we return.“

“Wow the best food! The gyros are stuffed and delicious. The greek salad was full of red onion delicious feta cheese. The tomatoes were so fresh and had stuffed grape leaves! The grilled chicken fresh and tender. Our new favorite go to! Thank you!“

“I had to take my cat to the vet in the area and stopped by Greek Xpress twice and the blonde woman with glasses who works there or maybe owns the place is so kind and caring and provides great service. I also love all the gluten free options.“

“Had the best night. The food was phenomenal. George and his wife were so welcoming to my family and I. Sat outside in a beautiful outdoor gazebo. We are New yorkers who moved to Florida 13 yrs ago and we are in for the Christmas holidays. I highly recommend this restaurant. Best food and service was amazing. so clean we felt so safe with the pandemic going on. Wine was so good. George was so great and went out of his way to please us. His wife made us feel so comfortable. Ty so much“

“Just about everything is good here. The only thing I cannot recommend is the lemon chicken rice soup, which to my taste has too much lemon - but that’s only one person’s opinion. The lunch rush is just that - a lunch RUSH; the place is extremely crowded on weekdays from about 12 noon to 1:30. But if you’re willing to wait you won’t regret it.“

“Ever since I found this place, its the ONLY place around work I’ll go to for lunch. I once had something pop up immediately after picking up my greek salad there, and only had a chance to eat 7 hours later, after it had turned into a soggy mess. You know what: IT STILL BANGED! “About an hour ago I ordered food from B Greek kitchen in Lynbrook. You could go read my review on their page for how horrible that experience was. That being said I ended up canceling it and ordering from this place whose name I can’t even pronounce. Let me tell you something the food was ready in 10 minutes more delicious than I ever could’ve imagined and service was super friendly. I will 100% be back. Especially considering the time the other place was taking to make my food was longer than the drive to this one and back.“

“The food was ok. No AC in the restaurant and muggy outdoor eating made it hard. I asked for no tomatoes or olives in my salad and she brought me a full plate of tomatoes in my salad so I didn’t eat it as I never return food. The place needs a good cleaning.“

“The BEST Gyro I’ve ever had. Fast service. Tzatziki was delicious and they didn’t skimp on the amount they put on the Gyro. Then the manager brought out a Greek yogurt with cherries desert that was amazing!! Highly recommend this restaurant. I wish I didn’t live 1,000 miles away.“

“We recently had team lunch here and everyone enjoyed the authentic Mediterranean food.
All platters were more than enough for 1 person.
Mixed grilled had lots of of meats options.
Special lunch $17 per person.
Includes gyro, salad and a dip with pita.
Chicken Gyro was well seasoned.
Baba ganush was ok
Spicy feta was delicious
Very friendly staff.

“Ran In Here Today, Out Of The Pouring Rain, For A Quick Lunch With My Daughter-in-law & 3 of My Grandchildren..Am I Glad I Did, Their Lemon, Chicken Rice Soup, Was Fantastic, Even Better Than Some High Priced Fancy Greek Restaurants My Hubby & I Use To Frequent When We Lived In Astoria. We Loved The Saganaki Fried Cheese Balls,Too. The Kids Meals Are Great (& They have many choices) I Tried The Falafal Wrap & My Daughter -in-laws Had The Gyro & Both Came With Potatoes, I Had The YUMMY Lemon Potatoes & They Also Have (yummo)Greek Fries With Feta & Oregano...We Shared 1 Of My Favorite Greek Desserts, That Starts With A G, But I Can't Spell It. “I ordered a specialty chicken pizza, a steak and shrimp gyro and zeppoles...honestly the pizza and gyros were delicious but i had been craving zeppole and they were horrible. My jaw hurt trying to chew them, they were so hard probably refried and not fresh. Sadly ordered 2 orders and had to throw both out ?“

“I'd like to give kudos to Nick and his staff at Veranda Restaurant & Cafe. We held my daughter's bridal shower brunch for 22 people there today under the pergola. The food was excellent, and the waitstaff led by Daniel was impeccable! I highly recommend this venue.
Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to cilantro, so they prepared guacamole specially for me without this ingredient.

“I ordered 3 smoothie 4 pieces Empanada. Super Large Size Drink, I have to share with another person. Love thin and crispy skin Empanada, full of Stuffing. and it don’t have too much seasoning. “Just went to Greek City Grille and ordered the chicken souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and the lemon potatoes were absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was so clean and decorated beautifully. Will definitely be coming back!“
