“The service was great, the lobster ,filet and mussels were excellent. My only disappointment was that I expecting the fish sandwich to be fresh fish and it was just a prebreaded and frozen. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I mentioned my observation to the manager and he was very appreciative and helpful. Overall we had a nice time out on the front patio. The service was very prompt and friendly.“

“Casual atmosphere with great staff and VERY good food. We were dining out with a 2.5 and a 4.5 year old; our waitress was patient and very understanding. The ceasar taco salad with chicken, and the burger w/fries, were delicious. My margarita was perfect too!“

“first visit there last night and it is absolutely wonderful. from my call to make a reservation to the greeting. Julia was top notch. she is an asset to the restaurant. amazing server and just so on the ball and kind and knowledgeable. food was stellar tuna appetizer and sushi tuna bowl for dinner. excellent. drinks!!! perfect. I will be back. little gem of northport.“

“These people are so nice they gave me guacamole on the house and let me bring my bycicle inside while i ate and the atmosphere is so nice here and it’s so clean while the food is excellent and I travel here 10 miles all the time because i love this place“

“Fabulous lunch menu with equally fabulous taste and wait service. What a pleasant surprise dining at The Purple Elephant. I ordered the steak tacos and could not believe how delicious they were. Outstanding menu choices. My friend ordered the shrimp tacos and was equally pleased. We were too full for dessert but did look at the menu and each item looked better than the next. Great view of the Britannia Marina as well. Armand was our waiter and he could not have been more attentive and friendly. We will be back!!!“

“food is amazing- however I had a very unpleasant experience. One of the first few times I ordered delivery from them I was about to give my card number and I just picked the card up from my lap and while I was doing that the lady yelled into my ear "hellooo" it was a loud and long hello and i apologized, it was just one split second and I just can't believe the impatience someone can have if they're in the customer service business.If your going to ask if the customer if there still there just do it politely. I love the food here and this establishment just learn some manners please.“

“Wonderful experience dining at the new Arlo restaurant. The renovation is absolutely incredible. You want to walk around just to admire how beautiful it all looks. The food and service was next level - reminding us of what you’d experience in NYC. Our guests raved about their duck entree, their boeuf bourguignon pot pie was outstanding, the oysters were fresh and delicious, great craft cocktails, and outstanding waitstaff. We had high expectations and they were exceeded. Looking forward to going back.“
