“Hi Sara, My daughter surprised me and brought me a Corned beef and cabbage dinner on the 17 and I was so surprised. I have to say it was perfect meaning the meat was so lean and cooked perfect and of course so were the potatoes and cabbage. I enjoyed it so much, please say hi to the cooks in the kit for me.“

We barely finished our halves of pizza! Delicious! Had wings next day - some big boys, & good Thai sauce! So food was good, cold beverages, purdee smile - just didn't expect $70 bill for 2 items & 2 drinks each, for local roadside bar.

“My companion and I had dinner at Placid Pines earlier this week. I ordered the Reuben Grill sandwich and he had the Open-Faced Hot Roast Beef sandwich. Both were excellent. The corned beef in my Reuben was very lean and delicious, as was his roast beef. We both had the pumpkin crunch cheesecake for dessert, which was also very good. For a small pub like Placid Pines to serve such delicious food is a testament to their chef and kitchen staff.“
