Clearly the owner is passionate about what he's doing here. I have eaten sushi all over north jersey and will only go back to a handful of restaurants because I am very particular about food in general but with sushi in particular - this palce is one that I have gone back to once and will certainly come back again. “Just had the best dinner at Shoyu Sushi in Scarsdale. I’m vegan, and they have a few options for appetizers, sushi and entrees. Got the fried gyoza, vegetable roll, kampyo roll and vegetable curry and it was extremely satisfying and everything was hot and fresh. Presentation is cute and they use real wasabi paste (not horseradish). Westchester’s food scene is pretty lacking but this place definitely makes up for it. Found my new favorite Japanese/sushi place!
