“Food is so delicious! We tried ox tail, goat, chicken and shrimp. Spicy sauce/salad to with the fried plantains… All DELICIOUS! Very flavorful. The waiter explains how the dishes are cooked with, and he’s clearly not just serving us food but introducing his culture and food to us. Great experience! We will come back!“

Kid-friendliness: Our kids made a mess, spilled drinks, were a little bit all over the place. They were so gracious and patient. Great family environment. They also loved the food and ate everything.“

“I came here for the first time for brunch with my fiance. We didn't make a reservation but we were seated instantly.. I would highly encourage making reservations as there were multiple events happening there and we were lucky to get in on a walk-in LOL. The wait staff was very friendly. We had nice conversations and She was attentive. My fiance ordered that oxtail Rasta pasta which was amazing. And I got the chicken and red velvet waffles which was also very good. I liked his dish more though LOL. We also ordered the ackee and saltfish patties. I love that concept. It was creative and very good. I ordered the rum punch( potent and delicious) while my fiance had the bottomless brunch drinks for 1 hour. It included either a screwdriver or a mimosa. The difference if you would like to know is one is vodka and orange juice. The other is champagne and orange juice. We preferred the vodka LOL. Really nice Restaurant. atmosphere was beautiful music on point we were jamming out. We had such a great time. Amazing vibes. Highly highly, highly recommend and will definitely be returning.“

“Came in last week to try Haitian food for the first time. A coworker from Haiti recommended this restaurant specifically.I got the oxtail stew and it was amazing. Tender meat in a flavorful sauce. And it comes with a weeks worth of delicious rice and beans, Plantains and baked mac to boot.Stopped in today for the fried pork and it was the best food I've had in a long time. Love the spicy pikliz!The restaurant itself is small with a few tables but has an extremely warm welcoming feel. Staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever seen.“

“Our server, Samantha was incredible. She had the perfect friendly attitude, and worked hard to ensure that we were taken care of at all times. The food was great and the service was even better. We were shocked when she told us it was her third day on the floor. We will be back and we will be asking for her.“

“The food from this place is INCREDIBLE. I usually order the large oxtail platter and large j*** chicken platter. Both come in very full containers. The meat is flavorful and comes off bone easily! Rice and peas is delicious and also very flavorful. There is typically a line when I go during lunch time, but the food comes out in 10-15 minutes. Jr is very friendly and I definitely feel like I'm contributing to a family business. Reasonably priced for the quality of their meat and food.“

“3-14-2023 - This review is for take-out only, This is the first time trying food from this establishment. My husband and I had an order of Oxtails, Rice and Cabbage. The Oxtail meat was so very tender and tasty, but the Cabbage was hard and needed more time in the pan, the Rice was perfectly cooked and spicy. “I have been patronizing this restaurant for over 15 years. The food is pretty good, breakfast, lunch and dinnertime. The food is always freshly prepared. Customer service is professional and well mannered. The prices are reasonable and the food portions are adequate. Love their fried dumpling, goat water and chicken soup I have also used them for catering of large gatherings and never disappointed.“

“First time going. It was late on the weekend. Everything is made fresh daily so there was a few things that they didn't have. We got the curry chicken and curry goat, also a few beef pies. Everything was fantastic. The portions were bigger than I expected. Very happy with this p place. Will go again, just earlier next time.“

“I get so excited every time we get a chance to visit Oracabessa. This is my favorite go to spot for delicious, authentic, home style Jamaican food, that always hits the spot. Regardless the time of day, Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they gotcha! The food tastes like someone has poured love and magic into every bite and the portion sizes are Nice! While I have my faves, I totally recommend you try everything and see for yourself.

“I’m not sure why everyone is complaining about the amount of food and price. This is what I got for $20 as a large, and it definitely filled me up and I still had leftovers! They are the only place I get my oxtails from, customer service is great, the ladies are always pleasant when I walk in to order or when I call in.“
