“Love the sample station, really great touch! The Italian wedding soup was great. I liked the Mac and cheese, would probably skip the Baja toppings next time though. Service was good, very friendly. Good ambiance, comfortable seating, lots of booths. Just wish they shook up the salad with the dressing for you. It was a little difficult to eat and there was no lid so you couldn't really mix the salad dressing without making a big mess.“
“Had a great time eating delicious food at Brats Hill restaurant. We were promptly greeted by Chris D and taken to a table. The waiters and waitresses were committed to great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and I definitely liked that there was that raw , real, Jamaican vibe. Most importantly, Chef Chris and the kitchen staff killed the Lamb Shank entree. 100% worth it!“
“Stopped in for lunch based on Yelp reviews and we found a very clean, simple restaurant with a pleasant hostess/server. The food was excellent. The French onion soup was very very good. Hubby had the Italian beef and I had a Pittsburgh chicken salad. Both were fresh, tasty and very filling. We will be back to try other menu items.“
“Balanced Bite is in the former Flourish location on Broadway in Lancaster and oh my goodness !!! their food is FABULOUS!!!!! All vegan. No processed oil, sugar or salt.... Their breakfast sandwiches are divine! Everyone who works there is friendly and fun and in the back is an incredible chef who went to the NYC Culinary School and rumor has it he was offered a job in a Michelin Star vegan restaurant in NYC and turned it down to come work in Lancaster! Their vegan Buffalo Wing soup is out of this world!! I always order their meal prep. Five awesome meals...big enough to share! Always delicious! Their hours are limited to Friday & Saturday. They have a great breakfast & lunch menu. Plus a deli case full of wonderful vegan things like vegan "egg" salad, "chicken" salad made from chick peas, hummus, "cheese" for nachos..they also have amazing smoothies & great coffee. Nice selection of healthy baked goods like muffins and cookies and fantastic sour dough bread! It's a tiny place with maybe 6 tables and chairs...it's charming. For healthy eating that tastes phenomenal... THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!“
“Is it strange that my favorite restaurant is in a gas station? Charlie the butchers, located within the Marathon gas station on Main Street in East Aurora is spectacular. Not only do they have what you would expect, delicious roast beef on weck, they have delicious sides and daily specials like baked ham, meatloaf, corned beef, and prime rib. The service is fast and friendly - and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. It's just lovely.“
“She is such a gifted cook!! The food is delicious. I’m kind of picky ans I LOVE everything. Not one thing I haven’t liked which is not usual for me at all!!! My 4 year old loves her food too. It’s reasonably priced, packaged super convenient in good reusable containers not cheap plastic. I really can’t recommend this enough if you need a week off from cooking. We order a couple things and eat it alllllllllllll week!!!!“
“While we are not wild about Beef on Weck, we decided to give it another try due to the reviews of Charlie the Butcher. While still not a fan, their sandwich was the best Beef on Weck we've had in Buffalo. Their other food is pretty good, as well.“
“Ordered foor togo. I chose curbside pickup since I had two littles that I didn't want to drag inside with me. They walked out with it two minutes after the estimated time which I thought was fantastic but the young man was so apologetic about "the wait". I kept stressing that there was no reason to apologize. We live about 25 minutes away but the food was still hot upon getting home. Everything was delicious. My only complaint is how much garlic and season salt is always put on the broccoli in the kids meals. I wish it came plain without having to ask for it because I it is not stated that it has seasoning, so I don't remember to ask.“
