I can absolutely confirm that this is the case with HAAM. One thing I also hate when I go out to eat is the feeling that I could make the dish at home for less. “The food was good, but they really need to do better about customer service. We had a party of Nine that wanted to dine-in. We were given no help only told us to put the table back after we moved them together ourselves to seat us. Luckily we dine in because we was missing a full order of Rasta pasta. My mom order okra and fish. We were missing the okra so they refunded me a dollar. As we were leaving the young lady approached me saying they gave her pumpkin that she didn’t order or want and asked for the dollar back. I was very surprised about that. As I said customer service was not up to standard.“

“Okay so I’ve had the food here… the most a couple times… yeah for real Trini food this ain’t it honestly… like I’ve had better Guyanese Chinese and I love Trini food… however the baked goodies I do love and definitely worth the wait… I mainly eat the coconut rolls, sweet buns, and butter breads from them…. Those I know always on point… the actual hot food tho… eh … needs improvement…. Oh and the female helpers tend to have a little tude there ( typical right … but not the worse) but the guys are always nice… well at least one there … he could possibly be Trini.. IYKYK“

We ate here and they had a wide variety of food options from doubles, cook up, bake and salt fish and various curries paired with The best tasting roti I have had in a long time. We ended it all off with some very tasty Pastries that are homemade in store. The owner Serita is very hospitable and made sure we had everything and that we were well taken care of! I'm from the Caribbeans and I grew up on plantains so I know what to expect. They are a little tougher than other foods but I already know that. The Mac and cheese is a little dry though.
